Picasso-Fincas Benidorm

Reservamos para quedarnos mientras nos recuperamos de una cirugía en España. Tuve algunas complicaciones importantes que impidieron que me dieran el alta hasta casi un mes después. No pude llamar/enviar un correo electrónico y cancelar mi reserva con el apartamento debido a que estaba en el hospital. Cuando finalmente estuve mejor y pude explicarlo, el hotel se negó a reembolsarme incluso una parte del importe de la reserva que hice.

Amazing everything you would need Just returned from a one week stay here mid April 2024 was disgusted reading the reviews after I booked I was thinking of canceling but pleased I didn’t everything we needed it was somewhere to sleep as had friends nearby we were met by friendly receptionist upon arrival explained everything you have to pay 150 euro damage deposit or 100 English we met receptionist on arrival who booked us in and never seen her or anybody on reception until the evening before we left however this is a self catering resort and they only need to be there on check in and check out times but a contact number is there for any issues the rooms are great as the self catering side of it had cooking hob microwave-plus plates pans pots glasses cups kettle cutlery also a toastie machine also iron and ironing board plus numerous electric points including outside on the balcony and options in the wardrobe for thicker blankets which we required as cold on an evening Pool is ideal not too big and kids can enjoy comfortably unfortunately the sun doesn’t hit until late afternoon Would I stay again hell yeah I also have friends who were on same holiday came to look around and they will also book thank you and see you again

My son and me stayed here for a week rooms were clean bar was never open so I assumed this was only open during tourist season price was right

I stayed at the Picasso as a group of 3 blokes for the Cheltenham Festival. Prior to travelling I noticed from my information that the reception would be closed on our arrival. I emailed them asking what the procedure was to get the keys and pay my deposit. I received a reply from Maria who gave me instructions and photo how to get the key from the key safe and paid the deposit on my credit card. This saved a lot of time and hassle to get settled in our apartment. Our accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable enough for our stay, with a bedroom with 2 single beds, a living area and a well equipped kitchen. We only used the kettle and the fridge but a hob, microwave and grill were available. There was a foldable bed in the living area but in my opinion it would be uncomfortable with more than 3 people in the apartment. A large balcony was accessible from the living area and bedroom. There was a cafe available downstairs next to the reception. The staff were friendly but if you have any queries ensure you go to reception during opening times. When I got an email regarding my transport Maria looked out for me to tell me of a change of instructions. If I go back to Benidorm I would definitely return to the Picasso.

We turned up to find a deserted reception and a phone number to call. Got the keys from a locked key box and attempted to go up to the apartment allocated. Of the 2 lifts only one was working the other would only allow 2 people in without a weight warning. Supposedly a 450kg limit. It felt like it could fail at anytime. When after a couple of trips we arrived at the apt we were a bit taken aback by the old fashionedness of the place. However it was quite clean. We'd booked a One bed apt for 2 adults and 1 child. The Apt had 2 single beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed that would sleep 2 as well as a Z bed so a capacity of 5. We were provided with 4 quite flat pillows( I had to bulk with clothes) Only 2 blankets for the 3 of us. It was cold on a night time so this was not enough. The optional air con/heating was a to be paid for 25 euros for the week. I can't remember the last time I had to pay for TV in even a grotty Blackpool B&B. 20 euros for the week. CRAZY. Swimming pool and Snack Bar/ Bar only available April to September so bear this in mind if you're just after a lazy holiday by the pool. All in all the place needs a major refurbishment. I fear for the lifts and hope they don't fail and hurt someone. While I know that we went self catering and not a fully serviced apartment I would hope to see the reception desk manned at some point each day so you can address any concerns an hour a day with a note when that may be would help. Kitchen sink leaking, 1 toilet roll provided for the week and towels only changed weekly just a couple of other delights. To be diplomatic it may well be better in the summer. (I doubt it)

First the good bit,apartment ok everything you need is in it. Now the bad bit phone number on door to get key nobody answers eventually get access lady had not been well but nobody else to assist her no contact with said lady for 4 days no wifi no remote for tv which was extra finally got in touch after day 4 via email had enough by then left and booked another hotel down the street. Might be alright in the main season but deffo will no be going back there

Nice staff and people and excellent food rubbish shower the water went under the door u have pay 4 the tv and WiFi in the room. Unfortunately the bar shuts at 8pm. You are not far from any bars, and the sea front,which when the sun sets looks stunning

i stayed here with my family from 4/10/23 until 11/10/23. we arrived at the apartments shortly before 10am, with nobody on reception just a sign so say check in is at 16:00, This wasn'tt stated upon booking. When we checked in. its was 150euro deposit, 20 for the tv which is spanish tv ! 30 for wifi another 30 if you want air conditioning. then told to check out by 10am. nobody arrives until 12noon to check you out and refunds deposits. The rooms was Fair, Clean, Spacious, cooker , microwave , cutlery ect.. No complaints. The bar doesnt open til till noon and closed by 6, but when you do catch it, it does good food. Staff are polite and helpful when their around. Its basically a no thrills 2STAR accomodation and you get what you pay for. The locals see tourists come into shops and prices magically rise so be carful there. I tried to shop for things in supermarkets rather than 1 man bands. Would i stay here again? Yes but i dont think benidorm is a child focused holiday . So as a couple.
