Loved this villa so much! Perfect views of the surrounding rice fields within a beautiful Bali village. All the comforts of a big hotel with delicious restaurant, shuttle and plush amenities. The two room Villa is perfect for a family with slightly older children or plan for parents to sleep separately with kids in each room as there are doors between rooms that feels a bit far.

They gave us completely raw chicken for dinner. Absolutely disgusting. Luckily we realised (it was inside of breaded chicken) and did not swallow any of it as otherwise we would have been very ill and it would have ruined our trip. Staff did not seem bothered about the seriousness of it. Do not stay here and definitely do not eat here.

Perfect place to stay. We stayed in the 2 bedroom private pool villa. The villa is beautiful. The staff are ever so friendly and helpful. The rice fields around villa are so nice, very clean. The breakfast is delicious. We had a perfect experience. Highly recommended

Surprised by the highly rated reviews but then I guess it must be mainly for the villa accommodation. We stayed in a deluxe double room on the ground floor and were disappointed. Room was not cosy and pretty much run down in the bathroom eg cracked basin, yellow stains and mold. However, staff are super friendly and the lobby/restaurant view over the rice field is amazing serene. Breakfast has different package choices and was delicious, dinner was less exciting. The ride to Ubud center takes almost 30min. However, in overall, I guess good value for what you pay.

After the hustle and bustle of Kuta,the Kayu Lama villas were a lovely quiet retreat. Situated in the quiet countryside and approximately a half hour taxi ride away from Ubud centre and monkey forest. Rooms were very clean, tidy and spacious. All the staff were friendly, spoke perfect English and can provide you with a driver/taxi for day trips or trip to Ubud. Food was great, excellent breakfast was included. They actually ran out of cold beer one evening, they can't have many Scousers staying! All in all a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful location, comfortable villas in very peaceful surroundings, good amenities, friendly staff, and a very handy shuttle into town 3 times a day! I just wish WiFi was better and that they listened to instructions regarding brekkie

An incredible experience. We were very well received by the smiling staff. The private 2 bedroom villa is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The pool overlooking the rice fields is very nice and clean. The breakfast is very copious and the view on the rice fields is incredible. An experience to share whether with friends or family. Thank you 🥰

I recommend Villa Kayu Lama with the best personal experience! We booked it as a part of our honeymoon and for the Ubud area. Breakfast was perfect and always very clean. The staff where amazing, always doing their best for our stay😊 we appreciate and enjoyed every day of our stay. It is all in the details😊 My warmest recommendation for Nyoman the driver. Thank you, thank you!!

This place is amazing, the people, the location, the clealiness, the food, the service is honestly amazing. 1. I have wanted to propose to my gf in bali and was deciding between seminyak or Ubud. I talked to staffs and had been in discussion with them for the planning a month before that. They have helped me with decoration + private dinner with 6 course meal by the private pool. They even made a candle walkway for us. Honestly one of the best amazing experience i had. 2. My fiancee is a vegetarian, they are able to customise food to your request and add in extra ingredients at no cost. 3. I just want to commend the staffs, they are really the most polite people in this world. They can speak perfect english with very professional train hospitality skillsets. 4. Location: Right by the rice field. what more can i say. I'm honestly so impressed.
