Susurros del Coraźon, the latest Auberge creation must be experienced...The attention to detail in such a secluded paradise, pictures and words can't describe the magnificence of the resort. We visited for the grand opening Nov 3-7, 2022. Private transportation was offered from Puerto Vallarta international airport, however, we chose to rent our own as we wanted to explore more of Punta de Mita, the small town where SDC is located. The contrast of driving from PVR to Susurros del Coraźon is striking as you drive literally through what was once a jungle. Upon entry to the resort, we were greeted by the general manager and his team. Hector Lugo is the maestro behind the magic. Hector and his team welcomed us like family who was coming to visit after a long time away...! Checking in done in an open air lounge where beverages are provided (you must have the spritz...so refreshing) while a Cuato describes some of the local crafts that were on display there and throughout the resort. Our bags somehow got to our rooms before we did. The best part is that guests are provided a Cuato...described to me as a "best friend" ...this person was the only person we needed to contact for everything we needed or wanted during our entire stay. I was provided a phone contact (What's App) and told I only needed to text her for anything. November 3, 2022 was a special day... it was the official opening of the resort and we were the first guests. Hector arranged a special ceremony on the beach at sunset where we released baby turtles into the sea. It was actually life changing...such an emotional experience in such a beautiful setting. Later that evening we visited La Boquita an open-air lounge offering unique cocktails and authentic Mexican tapas. All the food served at SDC, we found was authentic Mexican...utilizing ingredients that were locally grown and representative of the location... taking farm to table literally, the resort not only supports the local community by providing jobs, but also sourcing their ingredients from small family owned local businesses. Dinner that evening was taken at CasaMilpa...again something that must be experienced. I highly recommend the ceviche and the pulpo...however, each dish was presented as a work of art, and you could just taste the freshness...like it was pulled from the ocean that afternoon...! Our suite offered 2 king bedrooms, (split master suites with full luxurious baths) and a huge plunge pool on a private patio. You need to SEE these rooms...Pictures do not show the magnificence. (Ours was 43-44) There are 3 huge infinity pools within the resort that step down to the beach. Cabanas, and private daybeds are available...One of the cabanas includes a jacuzzi large enough for 20...really...! You want for nothing....! The service is spot-on from the moment you arrive. cocktails, champagne, bottle service, tapas, whatever you can imagine all with the authentic Mexican flair provided by genuine friendly, helpf
