These are examples which make me proud of being Portuguese. I decided Monday morning that I wanted to get out of Lisbon and found this amazing place, still with the possibility of a two day stay. The architecture is bold, still totally fitting the environment. Spectacular pool, one of the nicest rooms I have had, perks by Occitane and a hand-written note welcoming you. The snacks at the pool are good, the food at the restaurant has a fair choice for everybody, breakfast combines local with what you can expect from a 5 star breakfast. Last, but not the least, the people. In a time when good manners are not valued, here we have an example that educated people make all the difference. Thanks to everyone, from Tania and Ana at the reception, to the lovely people who were at the pool. I shall return (as Zorro would say) to have a go at rowing.
