Mientras estábamos haciendo el Chek inn en el hotel, una amiga que viajó con nosotros dejó una pequeña mochila arriba de un puf que había en el hall de entrada. Luego del realizar el trámite de ingreso el mismo había desaparecido del lugar, en el mismo tenía su celular y unas joyas que había comprado un poco antes. Totalmente sorprendidos de esta falta buscamos por todos los rincones pero no apareció. Como el Hotel tenia Cámaras le pedimos que chequearan los videos de ese momento. Al día siguiente nos mostraron unas fotos y pudimos ver que un hombre entró sin nosotros percatarnos de su presencia y había tomado la mochila pequeña que introdujo en un bolso y volvió a salir. Nos habían robado Adjunto las fotos donde se ve a la persona entrando, el bolso en el puf y como lo mete en su mochila.

Un hotel pequeño con servicios básicos para una estancia en Atenas. Muy limpio, la verdad se preocupan por eso. La cama muy cómoda, dormíamos profundamente. En cuanto a ubicación, excelente. A 10 min caminando del acrópolis. Con dos estaciones de metro cerca y también de tram. Muy tranquilo, cerca de todo, pero a la vez alejado del bullicio.

El hotel Eviprides se encuentra situado en el centro, muy cerca de la plaza de Monastiraki y de la estación de metro que lleva al aeropuerto. Las habitaciones son amplias y están limpias, tienen nevera y TV de pantalla plana con canales vía satélite, además, teniamos buena wifi en la habitación y un pequeño balconcito. El baño tiene secador de pelo y árticulos de aseo, el agua caliente de la ducha funcionaba bien y estaba limpio. El desayuno tipo buffet, es muy completo, se toma arriba en la terraza con vistas a la Acrópolis. Hay una azotea desde donde se puede disfrutar también de las preciosas vistas de la Acrópolis. Tiene dos opciones de parking, se puede aparcar delante de la puerta del hotel que es gratis o en parking privado (12€). Nosotras lo aparcamos delante de la puerta y no tuvimos ningún problema. El personal es amable y hay una persona que habla español. Lo único negativo es la calle donde se encuentra el hotel, está un poco dejada pero no es peligrosa. A pesar de esto la relación calidad-precio es fastástica. Sin duda, 100% Recomendable.

Excelente bienvenida por parte del personal dispuesto a resolver todas las solicitudes. Hotel abierto toda la noche y muy rápido en dar respuestas y buenos consejos a la información solicitada a la llegada. Situado en la zona central, un edificio un poco anticuado pero reformado. Desayuno buffet variado. Habitaciones silenciosas y espartanas con vista a la ciudad desde la terraza, estábamos en el séptimo piso mirando al oeste para poder disfrutar de la sombra por la mañana.

Minus: The toothbrush holder looked very dirty, I would probably give it a deep clean. There were some signs of mold in the shower and the toilet paper holder was loose from the wall. The rain shower head lived a life of its own, very inconsistent with how the water came out, it also took time for the water to warm up. If you care about noise, don't get a room with a street view, the windows really weren't soundproof at all. The location is a bit sketchy at night. I would also recommend the hotel to advertise to people not to waste food at the breakfast buffet because there was A LOT of it by others when we were there. This is a big thing for hotels in the north. Pros: The room looked quite newly renovated. Seems like the hotel was under renovation because when we were there it was a completely different style from the breakfast room to the room. It's probably going to be very pretty when it's finished. Plus for the minibar and kettle in the room. Plus for a separate toilet room and shower room. Great view from the balcony in the room and from the roof terrace. Great, down to earth staff. Also a very good breakfast, I have stayed in many different hotels and this is one of the best breakfasts in Europe for me.

Estoy muy impresionado después de visitar este increíble lugar. Impolutamente limpio y la habitación es enorme. El gerente me envió mensajes de texto varias veces y pasó personalmente para saludarme y asegurarse de que todo esté bien. Very nice little hotel, close to the ferry gates and the metro station, extremely friendly staff. The room was very confortable, nespresso machine and minibar. The elevator is slow, so we took the stairs most of the time. Would definitely stay again.

UUsuario invitadoMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

Our stay and review are based on a Superior room You would be hard pressed to find an Athens hotel in a better location. You are right in the middle of all the action with shops and restaurants nearby. You are spoilt for choice. Although in a busy area we found the excellent double- glazed doors/windows kept any noises out and it was not an issue at all. Our Superior room came with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities although that is not listed on their website. It may be worth e-mailing them if this is important to you. There was air-con but in March there was no need to make use of it so we cannot comment on its efficiency. The toilet/bathroom came with those tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash which we refuse to use on environmental grounds so we brought our own and used that. There was a sign saying that if the used towels were hung up then it was assumed that we were happy to reuse them. The cleaners replaced them daily regardless. The rooms were kept very clean. This hotel has much going for it. We grabbed a deal here at a very attractive price which included breakfast. The breakfast arrangements were in a fairly small area but we felt that a good selection was provided considering the space limitations. Plenty of fresh vegetable choices and delicious too. The Tomatoes and Cucumber just tasted so much better than we are used to. Cereals, bread, cakes, fruit and coffee from a machine. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning and didn’t grow tired of it. Minor gripes (being very picky). The over the bath shower was a mini battle in so much that it was prone to shoot water out onto the floor if you weren’t being careful. It could have been better but all we had to do was to adjust our showering habits and all was ok in the end. Our room had a balcony facing out to the street below. It would have been nice for a couple of chairs out there rather than just a large pot plant and the air-con unit for company. I did notice that no other balconies on other building had chairs out so perhaps that is just the Athens way. We had a Fridge in our room. Very welcome. A very close mini supermarket was the cheapest place we could find to buy water. E0.39 for 1.5 litres as I recall. We loved this hotel. All the staff were so nice and so helpful. I can’t remember all of their names but Irena and Eva come to mind. They helped make our stay wonderful. It had a curiously homely feel about the place. March time was a great time of the year as it was a pleasant day time temperature with it getting a bit chilly in the evenings. You could still dine outdoors but with a patio heater nearby. We loved Athens and have decided to return next March with the flights already booked. We will stay at the Plaka Hotel again. 5 stars from us

UUsuario invitadoDe viaje por Grecia recalamos en el Stanley donde nos alejamos tres noches y me pareció todo correcto, sin más. Nos despedimos del hotel para embarcar hacia las islas del Egeo, pero mi mujer dio positivo para Covid antes de tomar el barco (desastrosa organización que te anulen el crucero con las maletas ya embarcadas, ¿por qué no pedir una PCR hecha 24 horas antes?) y tuvimos que regresar al Stanley porque hicieron el esfuerzo de acogernos de nuevo buscando habitaciones donde no las había. Maravilloso trato maravilloso restaurante y piscina en la terraza, cuando finalizó el confinamiento, con magníficas vistas al Partenón. Profesionalidad y buen trato. Gracias a los trabajadores del hotel Stanley

UUsuario invitadoLovely hotel, nice staff. Very friendly! The rooftop bar is great. Room had coffee, tea, nice bathroom, amazing view of Monastiraki square and the Parthenon. Only thing to note is this hotel is in the middle of lots of action, so it can be loud outside until ~ 3am. Of course, not the hotel’s fault, but we played some white noise and that was fine. Earplugs would work for those sensitive as well.

Caminar a la ciudad de Guardia, abajo es el supermercado, el propietario de la propiedad está entusiasmado, el hotel está seguro y proporciona un depósito de equipaje. La única deficiencia es porque hay balcón, así que hay algunos insectos voladores, pero son muy pequeños y no dañan. El cuarto es muy limpio

UUsuario invitadoFuimos 2 veces. La primera nos dieron una habitacion sin vista, bastante pequeña y algo oscura. La segunda vez pedimos un upgrade a las del frente con balcon grande y una vista al coliseo que no dan ganas de irte. La atencion es muy buena, muy limpio, excelentemente ubicado a pocas cuadras de Plaka y de todas las atracciones cercanas. Volveria sin duda, pero a las habitaciones del frente.

SSalaGuilleMuy cerca de la zona arqueológica de Atenas, sobre una avenida comercial, se ubica este hotel. Se sitúa a cinco minutos de la plaza y estación de metro Monastiraki, con lo cual se puede acceder en metro desde el aeropuerto internacional de Atenas Eleftherios Venizelos. El desayuno es magnífico con delicias griegas para degustar. La higiene en el hotel es para destacar también. Posee una zona para tomar café pero hasta horas de la tarde. Algunas habitaciones poseen vistas hacia la Acrópolis donde se observa el Partenón.

Brilliant location, we were able to walk to all the sights and restaurants etc. A very nice hotel with very friendly staff :) The rooms were large, individual, quirky and clean so we were happy :) True that it doesn't have the hotel name on the door only number 27. One of the rooms had the bed up on a mezzanine level which was low in the ceiling but a fun unusual solution. Pity that room didn't have a light in the bathroom though. Overall we were very happy and would recommend staying at the Emporikon hotel :)
