We booked a short stay here to start our week long stay in Crete, and chose this location as somewhere to stay close to the airport. We received a warm welcome when we arrived (around 8.30pm and close to the end of the season) and we were shown to our room. The room itself was spotless and modern. Everything was provided for a self catering stay - I was pleased to see there were also mosquito plugs in the room! There was a good choice of buffet breakfast - including hot and cold options: eggs, bacon and beans; cereals; pastries yogurt and fruit. It is a short walk from Tersanas beach and around a mile to a nearby village if you want to visit tavernas close by (we liked Irene’s). Food is also served throughout the day here - we were told the kitchen closed at 9 but I believe this could be flexible by prior arrangement as we did see some people eating after. The two ladies running the apar**ents were friendly, chatty and helpful. This place is ideal if you have a car and want to explore, or if you want peace and quiet: there’s not a lot to do nearby but it’s so relaxing if that’s what you’re looking for!

Arrived around 10pm, we were shown to our studio room promptly and told we could order some food if we came straight away, we ordered Souvlaki and Spag Bol which was plentiful and did the job. Our studio room was basic but clean and had everything we needed and a little outside terrace. Peaceful around the swimming pool and liked the padded sun loungers for extra comfort. There was happy hour at 5pm and the cocktails were of good quality. A lovely quiet area, with a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk (although you can access sea directly from hotel grounds) a further 5 minutes on you will find a supermarket, coffee shop and a few lovely tavernas, It was perfect for a two night stay fairly close to the Airport before we moved on to start our month tour around Crete.

We stayed as a family of 4, looking for a peaceful retreat. It was lovely. Everything was clean, the pool area was relaxed and uncrowded, the breakfast was great. The ladder into the sea off the rocks at the bottom of the estate is a real bonus, as is the small and safe family beach at the bottom of the hill. All of the hosts/staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We hope to return soon.

Absolutely loved our two nights here enroute from the Chania airport. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond to give us a warm welcome. Our suite was comfortable and very very clean. The master bed and AC were wonderful. The grounds are stunning with views of the sea, a lovely pool, and restaurant and bar serving up delicious food. Loved the included breakfast as well. We travel often and would absolutely recommend staying here for value and experience!

We had our flight moved up by one day (found out a day before flying) so scrambled to find a place for one night not far from Chania Airport. Turned out to be a wonderful day at Alianthos for my family and I. We were greeted with warmth by the staff. We enjoyed tasty food, floating in the pool, happy hour and swimming off the hotels entry to the sea. What a fantastic stay. I wish we could have stayed longer but our reservation elsewhere was made. Thank you Alianthos for making our first day in Crete a magical one.

I have stayed in this location for already three times and every time it was excellent. The service is wonderful, very friendly and helping wherever they can. I rarely have met such warm hearted people and I would recommend everyone to stay in this apar**ent hotel. You need a car to get arounf but the hotel is located next to the sea and only 25 minutes by car away from the center of Chania. There is even a bus which takes you around the island so a car is not necessary for everything. The breakfast is delicious, offering savory and sweet foods, fresh fruits and veggies. And even when you are hungry during the day, the lovely personel will prepare an excellent dish at the beach bar. Thank you all from Alianthos Suites; my mother and I had an amazing vacation.
