The place was clean and excellent for the money. The bed was very comfortable. Great location, there’s a cool byob club a few doors down. The only issue was they could use some updating on the fixtures and it took a while to check it but I’ll stay there again.

Horrible experience. Would give it negative stars if I could. Me and my friend (both females) were traveling through the area and stopped for the night. Checked in around 1 am. It took about 30 minutes to get checked in and the guy at the desk was extremely rude. Once we finally got in bed we heard rustling noises all night long. Then we were woke up at 7:30 with someone knocking on the door twice saying “maintenance.” We did not call maintenance nor did we need it. (Or so we thought) Once we got up our bathroom door was shut and locked. No idea how because we left it open and it was unlocked but somehow it got shut and locked. When we went to check out the same guy that checked us in kept accusing us of having dogs in the room. Our dogs are back home in Texas. Overall would NOT recommend staying here. Very scary experience!!

First red flag is when I walked in and seen a bird cage on the table were guess eat then the unit had Dirty sheets and I found a couple dead roaches also staff were nice would not recommend for 80 dollars please spend the extra 20 an save yourself from staff!!

had to wait for service at front counter. i didn't have a phone to call for check in. manager was off premises. check in was quick. when checked out in morning [6:45 am] front office was closed and there was no place to put room key-so i slipped it under the door. room was quiet and plenty of options for tv watching.

It’s a very good hotel with excellent employees and it’s good to stay with friends and family. Employees are friendly with nature and when it is nearby à la things and they have a McDonald’s in front of it

Folks, if outdated decor and a few cracked tiles or blemishes are not for you, why are you even looking in this price range?! Duh. I was able to stay here for the entire weekend for way less than even one night elsewhere. I have also stayed with groups plenty of times in those more expensive places and our stay at Midlands was quite comfortable. You know what else happened that NEVER happens at those other places? They restocked our towels in our room so we did not have to come to request them or come to the lobby for them and they did so without me even asking! I have stayed here at least twice and I will likely stay again. Thank you, MIdlands Lodge, for providing an extremely affordable, comfortable stay!

Exactly what you'd expect for the price.....that is a compliment. Clean, comfortable, basic with a friendly staff.

There was roaches in the tub, very out dated. In the picture you can see that they used an outdoor porch light in the room.

This was a great deal for our stay over the weekend. The room was clean and ready for us when we showed up. The sheets were kind of scratchy and the lights over the vanity were out, however, these are more cosmetic things. Great place if you are looking for a clean bargain.
