Nos alojamos en alojamiento para 4 personas estilo japonés con vista al mar. La habitación es demasiado vieja y pequeña, tiene manchas en la pared y en la puerta del armario. La cama es más delgada de lo esperado. El desayuno buffet no tiene muchas opciones, las piscinas y muchas otras cosas tienen que pagar extra. Todo el personal es agradable, excepto un chico en el área de la sala de juegos que es muy grosero. Las aguas termales al aire libre tienen muchos insectos y hay que subir escaleras. En general la estancia es desagradable.

Genial. Recomendado para mucha gente. El buffet es muy rentable y delicioso. Puedes remojar tus pies mientras contemplas el paisaje del mar. Las aguas termales son muy cómodas y hay instalaciones de entretenimiento. Ir a KTV es muy rentable y económico.

Although this hotel location a bit far from the train station but they have the shuttle bus service between the hotel and train station. (Reservation in advance.) The view from the room was wonderful. And Onsen very nice. All staffs were very polite and friendly.

This is a very nice ryokan that you feel relax and clean. ● The hotel offers two types of yukata, and for one of them, you can choose your preferred pattern. ● The hotel provides complimentary limited-time plum juice, snacks, and ramen. ● The hotel offers two types of private onsen services for free. There isn't much difference between them, just the size and shape of the tubs. Each session is 40 minutes, and you can book multiple times on a first-come, first-served basis. ● Besides the private onsens, the hotel also has mixed-gender onsens (with provided bathing attire), a men's onsen, and a women's onsen. ● Kaiseiki meals normal only.

Me registré la noche que visitamos el Gran Santuario de Hongū Taisha. El hotel está a unos diez minutos a pie de la estación de Kii-Katsuura, por lo que su ubicación es bastante cómoda. Es un establecimiento de tamaño considerable para la zona, con la disposición de un típico hotel termal japonés (ryokan); en general, es correcto y funcional. Habíamos reservado una habitación de estilo japonés (washitsu) con vistas al mar; las vistas eran agradables, aunque tuvimos que preparar nosotros mismos los futones. Aunque entiendo la cultura de las reservas para cenar en Japón, intentamos añadir una cena a última hora, pero no fue posible, ni siquiera siendo huéspedes del hotel. Además, no hay prácticamente ningún restaurante en los alrededores (incluso el izakaya de enfrente requiere reserva previa), por lo que tuvimos que recurrir a la tienda de conveniencia cercana para cenar. Esto es un punto muy decepcionante para un hotel. El desayuno era de estilo japonés con un menú fijo, pero a pesar de ir con un niño, no nos ofrecieron un menú infantil, lo cual resulta aún más desconcertante, ya que la mesa de al lado sí disponía de él. En resumen, si visitan Kii-Katsuura, asegúrense de reservar la cena con antelación, porque después del anochecer, y como se puede apreciar en las últimas tres fotos (adjuntas), solo las tiendas de conveniencia permanecen abiertas.

We stayed in this lovely family hotel for a night, we opted for room stay with dinner and breakfast. There's no shops or restaurant near by, so highly suggest to choose the stay with meals option, otherwise there's cooking facility within the room also, so I think it's possible to cook your own meal if necessary. Location - the hotel is just round the corner of the famous Shirasaki Ocean Park, we even had a good view of the park from our room. There's parking space right in front of the hotel building, so it's very handy. We cycled to the Shirasaki Ocean Park then to the hotel, so it worked out perfect. There's a very steep slop going up to the hotel though, but it wasn't an issue for us as we pushed out bikes up. Facilities - this is a family run hotel which believes was built a while ago, so can't compare it to all those new built hotels. The ”room” we stayed is more like a mini flat, it has a big kitchen, good sized bathroom with changing area, a separate toilet, a living room, bedroom and an extra ”sitting” area. The entire flat is in traditional Japanese style which we loved, and it has all facilities that made our stay comfortable. It also has coined washing machine and driers. We could even access to rooftop on the 4th floor to view the sunset. If you're looking for a quiet place to have quality time, then this is a good place to do so. There's also ”public bath” within the hotel, it's small but wasn't an issue for us. There's also shower and bath in the room also if you want some privacy. Food - all food was cooked and prepared by the hotel owner, and she's a talented chef! Dinner was impressive, breakfast was standard. The hotel owner is very friendly and lovely, it's definitely ”the place” to stay if you're visiting the area. We highly recommend it.

La ubicación del hotel es relativamente remota. No se deje engañar por los comentarios de otros huéspedes. Puedes caminar 1,4 kilómetros desde la estación hasta el hotel 😓 De hecho, te llevará mucho tiempo caminar, y tienes que pasar por 3 túneles, especialmente el que está cerca del hotel... El sol es tan fuerte al mediodía, no hay luz en el túnel, está muy oscuro, da bastante miedo ~ Pero el personal del hotel es muy agradable y entusiasta, la mayoría de ellos son tíos mayores. La habitación es muy antigua, como si hubiera sido construida durante el período Showa. No es posible realizar el check-in antes de las 3pm. Pero las aguas termales al aire libre son muy bonitas, rodeadas de montañas y el mar por tres lados, y las aguas termales interiores son muy calientes... Me registré a fines de noviembre y casi me desmayo adentro. Si desea ir a la estación, el hotel dispone de un autobús gratuito que traslada a los huéspedes de 8:00 a 10:00 de la mañana, así que asegúrese de planificar su tiempo con antelación. El desayuno del hotel es bastante rico y, si no eres especialmente exigente con el sabor, ¡aún así es comestible!

It was a stunning experience, excellent services and cleanliness, spectacular view of the sunset while sitting in the hot bath. Also very impressed by Japanese style breakfast & dinner and the room. Thanks for the beautiful memories

We had a lovely 6-day stay at Shiraraso Grand Hotel with breakfast and dinner included. What stood out most was the personal touch in everything—something you rarely find in chain hotels. Every staff member works well as a team to ensure guests are comfortable, and we appreciated that throughout our stay. Our room was meticulously cleaned each day. The view was spectulae. We had good sleep because of the comfortable beds and pillow. The hot bath was a nice bonus, and we also enjoyed the free wine events. The buffet breakfast and dinner were genuinely impressive. Over six nights, the chef prepared nearly 10 courses each evening with almost no repetition. We truly appreciated the variety and effort. They accommodated our special request of replacing the sashimi dishes to cooked food. A special thank you to Mr. T. FUKUSHIMA. Due to my own mistake, I had booked a room with futon beds that we wouldn't have been able to use. He arranged a room upgrade for us (with a reasonable fee) and looked after us during our entire trip. His kindness and helpfulness made a real difference. Also, thank you to Miss S. OZAWA, who helped us with a few personal requests to ensure we enjoyed our stay. All the staff were polite and helpful throughout. We left feeling very well taken care of.
