¡Un hostal muy agradable! Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas, así que no hay sitio para guardar la maleta o la mochila; hay que llevarla al pie de la cama. Buenas instalaciones: lavadora y secadora, cafetera, desayuno, taquillas... ¡Los baños se limpian con regularidad!

A solo un minuto a pie de la salida M2 de la estación de Taipéi, y a unos 20 minutos a pie de los mercados nocturnos de Ningxia y Ximending. Si uno se anima, también se puede llegar a Dihua Street andando. Se puede ir a pie a restaurantes populares como Fuhang Doujiang y Shuangyue Food Co., lo que significa que no habrá problemas para encontrar comida o hacer compras desde la mañana hasta la noche. Las habitaciones están en los pisos 5 al 7 de un edificio multiusos. Aunque son pequeñas, apenas cabiendo una cama doble, hay una especie de balcón interior al fondo de la habitación con una mesita y sillas, donde se puede comer la comida para llevar o incluso abrir la maleta.

Desventajas: La iluminación de la habitación era muy tenue y al reservar no me di cuenta de que no tenía ventanas. La higiene debería ser aceptable, pero tampoco se podía apreciar bien debido a la oscuridad. La decoración era terrible; aparte de las sábanas y el techo blancos, todo lo demás era de paneles negros, y al no tener ventanas y con la mala iluminación, cada noche al volver a la habitación me sentía completamente sin energía ni motivación. Sin embargo, parece que la decoración es antigua, espero que el formaldehído ya se haya disipado. No sé si en todos los hoteles de Taiwán la lavandería es de pago, pero en este tanto la lavadora como la secadora se pagaban por separado, aunque no recuerdo el precio exacto. Ventajas: Buena ubicación, justo enfrente de la estación de tren de Taipéi.

Está cerca de las estaciones de Beimen y Ximending, pero un poco más lejos de la Estación Central de Taipéi. Es tranquilo a pesar de estar en una zona concurrida. Hay un restaurante de fideos con carne al lado; es fácil pasarlo por alto si no se presta atención. La habitación tiene baño privado. Suele estar bastante vacío por las noches. Mucha gente lo usa antes de la salida por la mañana. También hay baños y duchas en el exterior. La habitación está limpia, pero los pasillos y las zonas comunes están un poco desordenados. Está convenientemente ubicado cerca de la Estación Central de Taipéi y la Estación de Ximen.

En general, ofrece una buena relación calidad-precio con ventajas notables, pero la experiencia de llegada requiere paciencia y comprensión.

I write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all. The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing? The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room. On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before. It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well? Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me. It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.

Hace muchos años me alojé en este y otros hoteles similares. Al buscar un hotel en Taipéi, me encontré con un hotel tan caro que su precio era casi el mismo que hace 9 años. No hay nada de qué quejarse. Ubicación conveniente, habitaciones con todo lo necesario, y en recepción hay un dispensador de agua en el suelo. Se recomienda que la puerta de la habitación tenga una mirilla y una cadena antirrobo.

El hotel está muy bien situado. El primer piso es Ximending La estación principal de Taipei está a 10 minutos a pie. Hay un gran 7-11, que es conveniente para comprar bocadillos de medianoche. Primera vez que me alojo en una habitación de hotel larga Hay un pequeño sofá entre las dos camas, que está bien para ver la televisión, pero no hay nada que ver. El hotel acaba de ser renovado y está muy limpio. También hay un baño inteligente. Desventajas: No hay suficiente espacio para colgar la ropa, ni en el baño ni en la habitación. El aire acondicionado no se puede regular y siempre está demasiado frío. Solo puedo apagarlo. El aislamiento acústico es un poco pobre pero aún así es recomendable quedarse 👍🏻

Location & Transportation: The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the Hualien Train Station, which is fantastic if you're arriving by rail. However, I soon realized that the train station is not the city center. The main downtown area is a significant distance away—about a 40-minute walk. This means you'll either need to plan for long walks or rely on taxis and buses to get to the main dining and night market areas. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of. The Room: The room itself was a highlight. It was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The best feature was the large window that faced the train station, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. It was incredibly scenic and made the room feel bright and open. While the room was comfortable, I did notice that the overall design and some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It's clean and functional, but don't expect a super modern aesthetic. Amenities & Service: This is where the experience was a bit uneven. The gym was quite disappointing. It only had a stationary bicycle and a treadmill. There were no weights, no multi-gym, nothing for anyone hoping for even a basic strength workout. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper facility. On the other hand, the service had some truly thoughtful highlights. When we asked for ice, the hotel staff kindly delivered some to our room, which was a nice touch. The Special Touch: The most memorable part of the stay was a small, heartwarming gesture. The hotel provided us with complimentary postcards. The unique part? They offered to mail them for us, but not right away. They will send them exactly one year later. It's a lovely idea—a little time capsule from your trip that arrives as a surprise in the future. Overall: Hotelday Hualien offers spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful mountain views, and its proximity to the train station is a plus for travelers. The thoughtful service, like the ice delivery and the ”postcard to your future self” program, adds a warm, personal touch. However, the distance from the city center and the very basic gym are drawbacks. It's a solid choice for a comfortable night's sleep near the station, especially if you appreciate sentimental gestures, but be prepared for the travel time to the main attractions.

Muy buen servicio porque el fin de semana el hotel en el que nos hospedamos originalmente no tenía espacio para quedarnos otros 3 días. Nos mudamos aquí a las 11 de la mañana y pudimos hacer el check-in. no era grande, pero estaba bien. El aire acondicionado estaba muy frío y no se podía encender. Era un hotel grande. Es fácil subir y bajar del auto en la carretera. Ventanas que dan a la calle. El desayuno es relativamente sencillo.
