The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach. Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too. Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good. Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤 A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu… Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar… Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk. My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street. I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️ I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒 I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price. Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

La cena en el hotel fue un destacado restaurante, con una variedad de restaurantes que ofrecen platos frescos, deliciosos y de fuente local. Hay algo para cada palacio, y nunca tuve una comida que no era de arriba. Las instalaciones del resort son igualmente impresionantes, con un spa que ofrece tratamientos indulgentes, un centro de fitness bien equipado y varios piscinas perfectas para el salón. Si buscas un descanso relajante o una base para explorar Creta, The Royal Senses ofrece en cada frente. El hotel está situado en una zona de 4 estrellas, con una ubicación ideal para explorar la isla, con fácil acceso a las playas, a los pueblos encantadores y a los lugares históricos. En general, el Royal Senses Hotel es una combinación perfecta de lujo, confort y auténtica hospitalidad creta. Apartment Stella Paradise by Checkin is very conveniently located in Hersonissos - the main city beach is just 5 minutes walk around a corner, 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the city promenade with restaurants and bars, and no more than 20 minutes walk along the coastal line of hotels, restaurants and small pebble beaches to the best nearest sandy beach of Sarandari. The apartments themselves are quite budget style, but at the same time is very comfortable accommodation option for travelers who appreciate the optimal combination of price and quality. Our room consisted of a small bedroom, and a living room with a sofa bed and a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge and kettle. For those who prefer to cook while traveling, there is a necessary minimum of cooking equipment, but we have ordered breakfasts, which were covered by Stella herself the owner of the apartments. I would like to say a special thank to Stella for all her help during our stay - she recommended wonderful restaurants and beaches, ordered taxi and table in the restaurant, and solved all the minor issues we had, this made travel planning very easy and made our stay very comfortable. Despite the fact that this is not a hotel but a complex of apartments, the room was cleaning every day. And a big advantage was the presence of a terrace where it was convenient to dry bathing suits after the beach, and drink a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hersonissos again.

У нас был номер категории люкс, он на 4 человек. На мой вкус не очень удачная планировка у номера, мы останавливались на 1 ночь и нам это было не важно. Расположение очень хорошее. Огромный шикарный пляж-через дорогу. Завтрак отличны!

Breakfast is buffet style with various options that should fulfill your appetite and if you eat breakfast a little later can serve as brunch. Location is 20 minutes away from Chania old port if you walk via the beach pathway. To get to your hotel, it may be easier to call for a golfcart service to drive you to your room as the hotel covers a large area. Free gym, and they offer various activities at a charge. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness I would say it is Crete clean. There was some dirt or dust marks on our bed sheet and had to get it changed on arrival. Hair can be found on the bottom of the mattress as well. Pillows you get 4 - 5 options, but I still found all of them uncomfortable to my liking as it was too soft or too hard and does not support your neck.

El servicio del personal es muy bueno, las instalaciones y la comida muy satisfactorias. Lo único es que el hotel solo proporciona agua embotellada el primer día, pero puedes comprarla cerca del hotel. Además, el hotel solo proporciona un vaso de papel por persona y no hay ningún suministro de vasos en el baño. Los vasos de papel no se pueden lavar varias veces y no se utilizan durante muchos días, especialmente en los últimos dos días, no se pueden reemplazar. Ya no está disponible y debe limpiarse.

La ubicación del hotel es definitivamente muy buena y un punto más. Nos recibimos amablemente y la señora en el bar nos dio una bebida de bienvenida. El hotel parece bastante de alta calidad en la entrada y se siente bien levantado. Diría que no tiene nivel 5-Sterne, pero así es el 3, 5-4 absoluto. La habitación que habíamos recibido no tenía ventanas (en la descripción estaba una). No hay problema para nosotros. Nuestra mayor crítica es porque no había puerta en la ducha porque se le quitó. Por desgracia, no se pudo duchar bien sin inyectar agua al exterior. Cuando nos dimos cuenta de la recepción, lamentablemente, sólo había un ”no sabíamos” y prefierían llamar al teléfono y dejar que el invitado se quedara. ¿Quién quiere saber si no el hotel, por desgracia lejos del servicio 5-Sterne. Esperamos una pequeña disculpa y que se aborde el problema. Me siento realmente lamentable que se obtenga tanto dinero y luego se obtenga una habitación que no sea conforme a la norma y que no sea en realidad el nivel deseado para ser donado a los huéspedes. Afortunadamente, pasamos aquí sólo un día y pasamos la semana en un hotel adecuado 5-Sterne. Realmente sólo puedo dar estrellas en cualquier lugar 3/5.
