SSantha_RoyLovely place with peacocks roaming around. We had a wonderful stay but the washroom was bit a drawback. No shower curtains or shower head in the washroom. There was a stand in shower but unfortunately our shower doesn't had a good heating system, so we couldn't use it. Washrooms needs to be improved.

AAndyPPThe hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking.
We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service.
Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing.
The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay.
I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped.
Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet.
However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'.
We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.

UUsuario anónimoAnteriormente enviado por correo electrónico para preguntar si el estacionamiento de coches está disponible y se le dijo sí, el estacionamiento de coches en el lugar, llegó a encontrar no estacionamiento de coches y tiene que estacionar en un parque público (y pagar) arriba de la colina del hotel. El director se disculpó y renunciaba al comisario de 20 libras de comisiones, y se recomendó que el partido de Inglaterra se mostraría en el bar y las bebidas serían 3 por 2. El hotel se ha vuelto a ver y aprovechar para ser informado por el barman que las hastas no funcionaban y porque no podía trabajar 30% de las bebidas que no ofrecían 3 por 2 y lo que queríamos que hiciera en ella. Desgraciadamente, el mal servicio al cliente no es lo que yo esperaría y no optaría por permanecer allí otra vez.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is lovely, great atmosphere and brilliant location. I got the sea view room and it's literally in front view of the beach and all the action. The room was large, spacious, clean, massive super-king bed, and the facilities were good as I discovered a basement gym which is really neat.
However, as frequent traveller who loves functionality, in comparison to what I've seen in other like-for-like hotels, for a premium room with sea view, one of the window panes were smudged and dirty so I couldn't fully appreciate the ”sea view”. Secondly, for a premium room you would expect biscuits, water bottle, fridge as minimum, and optional extras for premium rooms I see bath robes and slippers. But the hotel didn't have them at all. All on top of that they didn't serve dinner as a whole (and hence no room service) and then charging £15 for parking, which is ridiculous to be totally honest. I parked on street 2 min walk away £6 by 12pm next day.

We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve
& were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in
They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms
We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience

UUsuario invitadoEn general, una gran estancia, los receptores estaban bienvenidos, aunque un poco más de esfuerzo podría haber ido a dirigirme a la habitación porque las tierras son tan grandes que me perdí un poco. En el edificio donde mi habitación estaba situada, el tapete debe ser mejorado, mi habitación era agradable y limpia. El hotel tiene un baño de hierro y una placa de hierro con la que estaba muy impresionado, también tiene dos guardarropas, una con una caldera en la parte superior y otra con pendientes en el interior. El personal de White Hart es hermoso y el servicio al cliente que ofrecen fue excelente. (Dos hombres) gracias. El viernes tenían una banda viva (mujeres/mujeres) cantando los antiguos clásicos para el Día de la VE que fue genial. La comida también fue agradable. Me quedaría aquí otra vez.

88285SueHWe stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews.
The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely,spacious walk-in shower.
The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!

Stayed on the hottest weekend in May ever!
One room freezing the other boiling. The air conditioning is not as reliable!
Rooms again varied. Although I chose the same one was spacious and airy the other a bit more crammed
I was told check in was FROM 3pm and we were not allowed in till 4.30 what complicated our plans.
The breakfast is good but super busy. Not enough staff to manage the demand. Felt bad for the staff running around!
Overall good! Great location!

UUsuario invitadoFor a 4 star hotel this was very disappointing. Only 1 person on reception and a queue of people waiting to be checked in. A very tired hotel that has been not been well maintained. Our room was disappointing, a balcony we couldn't use, a double bed that felt like I was sliding out of it all night as the mattress was worn and had gone soft on my side of the bed, an uncomfortable toilet as the seat was too small for the toilet. Many other small things as well, we expected better.

UUsuario invitadoThe Palace Hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and we were surprised to have evening entertainment. We went on a budget and were delighted with the hotel.
Only thing to add was the bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a new set, I understand having orgional features is nice, however, I think new would be better.
Also we were told breakfast would be £9.00 each on arrival, but when we went to pay it what a whopping £27.00 for a full English (1 of each item) amd some avocado and boiled egg on toast... of course we could have the continental... but it did make us cough a bit!! The service was great though.
Overall great stay would recommend and return.
