Mi experiencia en el Popilia country Resort fue bastante satisfactoria. La estructura es muy bonita, el personal muy amable (una gratitud especial va a Giuseppe de la recepción, que resuelve un problema rápidamente). Disfrutamos del spa, que nos permitió pasar dos horas agradables y en plena relajación. Me volvería con gran placer. Consejo con vivo.

We went to visit Tropea but were relying on Public Transport to move around; considering that, the location was not SUPER IDEAL, but the neighborhood is quiet and well lit so walking was not an issue at all and it made the rest AMAZING! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the place was clean and the breakfast was very complete, we loved it and would definitely go back! Strongly recommend!

Beautiful location idyllic .we stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time .
Perfect chill out place and saw some amazing sunsets .
Staff are friendly and helpful .
Great swimming pool and accompanying music .maybe more parasols /shade around the pool would be good but plenty of sun beds and parasols to relax near the edge of the sea and overlooking the sea from the hotel
Beach is beautiful .large stones you need to clamber over to get in but there are coloured sandbags to guide you and it’s worth the effort !!
Small bar and restaurant bit pricey but what you expect from a hotel restaurant I guess .and in resorts generally .food is good
Breakfast is ok could be better for the price although you can order additional items such as eggs omelettes. Pancakes s at extra cost
In the town .Itself 5 minutes walk there is a supermarket and a number of places to eat , may be with booking at busy times .
Club ipomea is great place to relax with the family .I hope to definitely return one day .

Das Hotel befindet sich knappe 5 Autominuten vom Flughafen Lamezia Terme entfernt. Die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption waren wirklich freundlich. Die Zimmer sind für eine Nacht absolut in Ordnung.

UUsuario invitadoFrancesco es increíble: es servicial, cálido y se esfuerza al máximo para ayudar. Me he alojado en muchos B&B y muchos son amables y serviciales. Lo que hizo especial a Francesco es su cercanía, su atención y su constante esfuerzo por ayudarme. Puedo ver y sentir, por mis interacciones con él y las suyas con otros huéspedes del hotel, que se preocupa por todos sus huéspedes y su bienestar. Por ejemplo, se ofreció a llevarme a la estación de tren sin coste alguno, ya que llovía, y me sugirió lugares para visitar y comer, además de ayudarme con el viaje en tren. La ubicación del hotel también es muy buena. A 7 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad, donde se encuentran todos los restaurantes, tiendas y atracciones turísticas, pero lejos de las multitudes. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias, con servicio de limpieza diario. Estoy impresionado y lo recomiendo.

GGabiGWe were nervous to book here based on the mix reviews. Especially this being the only 3 star hotel we booked throughout our trip however, it had the most comfiest bed out of all our stays in Italy. The only downfall to the excellent location is the parking as it is difficult to find at busy times. However, the payable option is almost always available on the blue line side. Breakfast was okay not a whole ton of options. Everything was clean to standard except for the shower… we wore sandals due to the black mold in the corners of the shower. Not to make excuses, but I find this common in a lot of Italy’s hotels as you need to take into consideration of how old most of these places are. Overall, it was a pretty good stay since most of the time you are out and about exploring.

UUsuario invitadoSo nice place to stay. Everything is so new and fresh at this apartment. The room is big and bright with a nice balcony where we were chilling at night with a glass of vine. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Location is very good. The owner was very friendly and polite, she helped us to keep our luggage after check-out. The breakfasts were served at the nearest cafes (pastry, coffee, juice). Not big deal but it was ok to have a ancle before the beach.
Highly recommend.
As a good suggestion for future I can recommend to provide a beach towel to the guests as everybody comes to Tropea for chilling at the beach and sometimes it’s a problem to bring your own towel because of the strictly demands of air companies to the weight of the luggage.

UUsuario invitadoThe resort is extremely well maintained and clean. However if you got to breakfast later say 9am the food was depleted.
The staff were nice but a matter of fact and some of the hotel policies like you must wear a swimming cap were ignored by all of the other guests.
The pool was amazing and clean and couldn’t fault it at all.
The food at dinner time was good but inconsistent in serving sizes particularly if you ordered the same thing the following day.
I think this is a nice resort but expensive for what you get.
The last thing I would say is that the entrance to the beach is not easy given that there are huge boulders in place and we found that we would walk through other hotel properties when we wanted a dip.

DdavylegrandIt was a very pleasant stay in this old monastery that was transformed into a hotel. There are only about 12 rooms and the Standard room is quite small but with a comfortable bed and very nice smell. The property has a stunning multi layered garden and a beautiful infinity pool woth views onto Tropea. Tropea is within walking distance from the hotel but about 12min away.
Everything was great but personally the breakfast was quite simple and selection is limited. I'm not a big breakfast eater but just wanted to highlight it as some people value a 5 star breakfast buffet.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and overall the property is very well kept in shape. Definitely the best address in this area.

Aunque un poco alejado del centro, el hotel goza de una excelente ubicación cerca de una estación de tren/metro, lo que permite acceder fácilmente al resto de la ciudad y a las afueras. Todo el personal con el que interactuamos mostró una actitud excelente: fueron serviciales, sonrientes y amables. Nuestra habitación Deluxe tenía un tamaño adecuado, estaba impecablemente limpia y ofrecía vistas al mar, que, si bien se podrían describir mejor como ”se ve algo de agua detrás del tejado del edificio vecino”, eran agradables de todas formas. El restaurante de la planta superior también estuvo a la altura de las expectativas, con mejores vistas al mar desde arriba y platos excelentes. Disfrutamos mucho del desayuno. Muy recomendable; sin duda volveremos si regresamos a la región.

El restaurante es muy bueno, pero las porciones dejan de desear (y quien va al sur quiere comer bien y abundante).
En general, sólo puedo dar un voto muy positivo a la estructura y aconsejar a todos esta elección.

UUsuario invitadoLovely, old-fashioned hotel in a great location. About 10 mins walk from the train station. We arrived early and the reception kindly made us a drink and even upgraded us to 2 rooms with seaview, which really made our stay. All of the reception staff were lovely.The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a little fridge.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. This has a sea view. The food was quite good, esp the seafood platter one of us chose. The breakfast is also very good, with a wide choice of items. (No English breakfast teabags,though.)
Would stay there again without hesitation if we went back to Bagnara Calabra.

DDejan SkaljacIt's an excellent location for those landing late at the Reggio di Calabria airport . Check in was very self-explanatory , two codes is what gets you in - one for the front door and one for the room key box. The location is on the main street so very easy to find. Giovanni was very kind in absorbing our tourist tax as we had no change to pay same. The bus stop for the line that gets you into the city centre and the train station is a stone throw from the front door. Nothing was lacking or amiss , the only slight drawback is that for people with reduced mobility, if using a crutch or the like , it's very steep flights of stairs.
