¡Hasta el Grand Central Premier Hotel! La habitación era muy grande, espacial, limpio y bien mantenido, lo que hizo la estancia muy cómoda. El hotel cuenta con una piscina, ideal para relajarse después de un largo día. La ubicación es muy estratégica, está a poca distancia a la estación de tren, lo que lo hace muy conveniente para llegar. Además, está cerca del Mall Deli Park, uno de los más bonitos centros comerciales de la ciudad, por lo que las opciones de comida y compras son fácilmente accesibles.

Nuestra habitación inicial tenía problemas de filtraciones, pero nos cambiaron a la siguiente rápidamente. El servicio fue bueno, pero necesitan limpiar un poco, especialmente las duchas.

Pros: large room, nice view from the window, good breakfast, not bad gym. Cons: Inattentive staff (I had booked a Deluxe room, but they put me in a regular room. Later I had doubts and went back to check if it was really my room. It turned out it wasn't). On the last night the water was black, making it impossible to wash or brush your teeth.

We looked forward to a restful stay at the resort. However, the guests in the rooms next to us were inconsiderate and rude. It didn't help that the room's soundproofing wasn't great either. On the first night, they checked in late and made so much noise that it disrupted our sleep. On the second night, the group kept ringing our doorbell looking for their friends and playing loud music and talking late into the night. When we informed the front desk, they said they will speak to the guests to keep the noise down. However the noise continued. When we escalated the issue during checkout, the duty manager said she could not do anything about it. I am sure the noisy group had disturbed the other guests staying at the resort too. Furthermore, I don't understand what's the point of choosing a non-smoking room when the guests next door are smoking throughout the night with the cigarette smoke wafting into our room, because all rooms do not have aircon and hence not fully shuttered. We called the front desk to complain but once against their hands were tied. If you were attracted to the activities that they offered online, please do not place much hope in it. For the two nights we stayed, they said the yoga and singing bowls classes were not being offered. Not that it's full but it just wasn't taking place despite it being a daily activity. We also needed to check out early at 630am but breakfast starts at 7am. Some hotels with better service will ask if guests would like them to pack a small take out box, but this place didn't suggest that, and when I asked if they could do that, they said no. The worst part was when their WhatsApp to me as a guest got my name wrong, seriously do they not check their records first?? For an extremely expensive hotel by Indonesian standards, this place is super disappointing. It has a great view but everything else just spoilt the trip. Sure they offered us a return 2 night stay for our inconveniences, but as an overseas tourists why would I return again to Lake Toba that soon when I can travel elsewhere, and why would I even want to stay here again.

We stayed here this time for 3 nights. We had stayed here a couple of times before. The hotel maintains its hospitality, warmness and courtious reception of customers. It was quite easy to check in and out. The staff from front desk to housekeeping were friendlyand warm. There are little things that should be paid attention to such as the menu for breakfast.. Although the spread is good but there should be some variation/changes. Overall staying here you get value for your money.

En general, una estancia muy cómoda, las habitaciones son muy limpias, bien mantenidas y grandes. Trabajé desde el cuarto durante unos días y tenían un espacio de trabajo decente con una buena silla. El desayuno tiene una buena difusión. No tienen un gimnasio ni piscina. Pero también valía cuatro puntos por Sheraton a un precio mucho más bajo.

Located in the heart of Medan, Kama Hotel is very easy to access, especially if you arrive by airport train. As a solo traveller, I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is affordable, the staff are friendly, and the location is convenient for exploring the city. The best part for me was the Dopio Coffee at the lobby, where you can enjoy a great taste of authentic Medan coffee. Highly recommended for solo travellers and families looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Medan.

Este es un antiguo hotel de 5 estrellas y algunas de las habitaciones han sido remodeladas, pero los baños son los mismos. Hay agua fría y caliente separada, pero hace mucho ruido cuando sale el agua, por lo que es difícil ajustar la temperatura para reducir el ruido. Si te duchas en otra habitación, el ruido perturbará tu sueño. La habitación y el baño son amplios, por lo que la relación calidad-precio es buena.
