We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with both the service and overall experience.
A special thank you to Shengjing, the Room Service Manager, for the outstanding service. Everything was well organized, prompt, and delivered with great care, which made our stay very comfortable.
We would also like to commend Manager Gaoand Lili at the buffet restaurant. The food selection was excellent, the dining area was clean and well managed, and the service was attentive and professional.
At the front desk, Taozi, Damai, and Huasheng provided exceptional service. They were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile and great efficiency.
Overall, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to others. We look forward to staying here again.

Room is clean and well comforting to stay. Super good location, walking distance to YunTing night market and plenty of restaurants surrounding. However my only highlight is the staffs are not friendly at all! Most of them!! Tbh I don’t expect 5⭐️ service but I don’t feel welcoming when I talking to the staffs (front desk or even the hotel’s restaurant workers!) Unfortunately, I will not recommend to my friend who wants to visit 长白山 in her future trip.

El hotel está muy limpio, espacial y está situado cerca del Centro de escenarios de Changbaishan North Slope (aproximadamente 15 minutos a pie del centro), y está rodeado de muchos restaurantes y a pie de la calle del mercado. El hotel está situado en el frente del parque de la renacimiento y a 5 minutos a pie del parque de la renacimiento.
El hotel también ofrece transporte gratuito a & desde la estación de tren (sólo necesita hacer una reserva de 1 día por el contador cuando vuelve). El personal del hotel es muy agradable y amable y se esforza por contactar con usted 1 a 2 días de antelación si necesita transporte y pueden organizar su trayecto desde la estación de tren hasta su hotel.
Si necesita transporte al aeropuerto, el personal del hotel puede ayudarle a organizar, el coste es aproximadamente CNY$250, viaje alrededor 1.5 a 2 horas.

Жили 3 ночи с женой, в апреле 2026. Все очень понравилось. Во первых расположение: от международного автовокзала Яньцзи на такси 12мин и 5Y. Через дорогу в 20 метрах - ТЦ Белокаменный, за ним рядом ТЦ Welkom. Сделали покупки занесли в отель, пошли дальше. Если стоять спиной к центральному входу Welkom, то прямо по торговой улице «Западный рынок» 5 этажей. В обратную сторону от Welkom, пешеходная улица и подземный «Восточный» рынок. Также в западном направлении не далеко «Народный парк», далее по улице знаменитая стена селфи университета Яньбянь. Далее: персонал приветлив, показал номер брони и паспорт, оформление заняло 4 мин. Все объяснили и проводили к номеру 8333 на 3 этаже. При брони указал, подальше от лифта и без запаха курения. Номер хороший 19-20м2 с кроватью 1.8м. Мебель норм но со следами износа. Постель и полотенца белоснежные. Большой ТВ, но ни одного российского канала. Большое окно во двор отела и в проулок на улицу. Вечером и ночью с открытым окном было тихо. Температура в номере комфортная. Розетки с USB и микро. Переходник для зарядки тел не пригодился. Вода сразу горячая, моющие средства с приятным запахом. Унитаз великолепен! Он с подогревом и подсветкой, порадовал. Был маленький холодильник, но он до +15 градусов, включал в розетку сам. Если нужно для заморозки, есть другой, уточнить на ресепшене. Остальное как в описании: тапочки, зубные паста и щетки, фен, чай, вода, э:чайник. Завтраки «шведские» нормальные. Много, что есть все не перечислишь. Покушать можно хорошо и вдоволь. В лобби есть где посидеть, угоститься конфетками. Там же висят корейские и китайские национальные платья, которые можно брать для фотосессии. Приколол робот-доставщик, который ездит по коридорам и на лифте. Впечатления от отеля оч.хорошие, остановился бы здесь и другой раз. Говорят он раньше был 4****. Надеюсь мой отзыв вам пригодиться. Shangri-La es Shangri-La, y todo en Changchun Shangri-La me satisface. está completamente satisfecho. Durante el período en Changchun, el primer día llegué aquí a Youshan y Wanda se comió Haidilao; el segundo día fui a Jingyuetan y por la noche caminé por Guilin Road. El Museo del Sitio de las Sombras está bien. La gente de Changchun que conocí es muy confiada y pacífica, y es realmente agradable viajar a Changchun. The rooms are very big & within like a 15 mins walking distance to the instamgramable wall! Enjoyed the stay there with kids. Each of them having their own double bed and spending only sgd 50 per room of 3 double beds per night which I thought was worth it.

The reception service staff was good and helpful especially that lady who works in the day time. She has guided me on the whereabouts within the surrounding of the hotel. She recommended a nearby big mall within walking distance whereby you can find all the local stuffs including a food court at the top of the mall where you can get reasonable good Korean food. Hotel was conveniently surrounded by big shopping mall. Getting food & buying stuffs was relatively easy.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing a disposable bathtub cover, which added extra peace of mind for cleanliness. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory.
If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff.
Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight.

UUsuario invitadoWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families.
For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though.
I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective.
Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building.
I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle.
But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat.
The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient.
It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C.
There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort.
Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol.
Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding.
We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day.
The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around.
Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back.
We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream:
✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance
✔️ Hot springs inside the compound
✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development
Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴
Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course.
The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building.
In winter.
On ice.
With wind that slaps.
Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up.
To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾
Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc.
The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸
Then there’s the hot spring schedule.

⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly.
Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus.
At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for.
It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs.
Trip.com, if you’re listening:
no guest should ever be pressured to review.
The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative.
This old dog is an independent reviewer.
I don’t bark on command.
I don’t roll over for stars.
And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle.
Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers.
Just come prepared with:
• good boots
• strong knees
• emotional resilience
• and the confidence to say, “I will rate when I’m ready.”

This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot.
Room Rescue
Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next.
Comfort Food = Home
Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed.
Care Beyond the Call
Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking.
Menu Meltdown & A Win
At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned.
City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church
Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace.
Logistics That Worked
Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring.
Breakfast & The Fine Print
Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in.
Verdict
Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. It really does take one good sheep—thank you, Mr Hong—to dim the rest of the flaws.

UUsuario invitadoWe had an amazing time at the Sheraton . The staff were absolutely exceptional. I was in touch with Vincent on we chat before I came and he helped us organise Christmas Dinner at the Westin . Throughout our stay he was there for our every need , nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to look after us . A real asset to the hotel . Other members of staff I’d like to mention - Julie at breakfast who noticed as soon as we came in , remembered and served us our drinks , laid the table with a knife and fork and anticipated our needs .
Likewise Tyler in the Ski equipment area - who went out of his way to help us every day always with a smile on his face .
I have to say that the service we received has been the best we’ve had in any hotel in China in the 18 months we’ve lived here .
The location of the hotel was also excellent as it was right on the slopes and the next to the ski hire shop.
I would highly recommend this hotel

No pueden hablar inglés, pero usan WeChat para hablar con nosotros y ayudarnos todo, ya que reservamos como reservar el autobús o nos envíamos como ir al ferrocarril o cómo encontrar el autobús. También ayudan a ordenar la comida, reservar entradas de escenarios, escribir la señal para ayudarnos a volver al hotel, nos fuimos.

NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

UUsuario invitado這個酒店有點九十年代的感覺，設施稍有陳舊，但是每個細節服務都讓你很舒服，很用心。這趟去金水鶴酒店，酒店免費幫我們升房，早餐品種雖然不太多，但是像媽媽的味道。床品很舒服，隔音也不錯，一覺睡到天亮。酒店很氣派，温泉雖然不算大，但是服務很周到。酒店的服務員都在微笑，而且是自然的微笑，對小朋友們很友好，不像我們在西坡萬達那邊感覺到是一種純商業化的氣氛。就像旁邊的美人松公園那樣自然和諧。
