We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kalemi 2 in Gjirokastër! The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully combining traditional Albanian architecture with modern comfort. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and served with care in a lovely setting. A small tip for travelers arriving by car: Google Maps can sometimes make mistakes when guiding you to the hotel, so it’s best to double-check the route or contact the reception for directions — the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a fantastic place to stay in Gjirokastër — cozy, authentic, and with great hospitality!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Very clean and modern facilities inside (aircon and shower etc). Location is also incredible, hillside and 15 minutes walk from the main district. Although one might find it tough going uphill, which is not my concern at all and just thinking about the view you wake up to? Absolutely worth it. It is family ran business, I had my warm welcoming and nice breakfast prepared the other day. Couldn’t be more grateful. Worth every penny.

El restaurante fue cerrado la primera noche y cambiaron nuestra habitación de una cama grande a 5 camas de niños que fue raro. Las dos TVs son sin sentido, no hay canales y no permite Netflix ni ningún servicio de streaming. También ofrecen algunas actividades divertidas al aire libre.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Small hotel room. Tv was pointless, couldn't login to Netflix or any services. No kettle in the room, fridge is outside your room which was nice. Good location, market across the road and restaurants all around. Parking included was nice.

Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

We loved this place! The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and the water pressure and temperature were good. I was pleased that they provided memory foam pillows.

Muy hermosa y tranquila situación. El personal y el propietario fueron muy amables y útiles. Su prioridad principal es la satisfacción del cliente. En una palabra: hermoso. Recomiendo muy bien este lugar y definitivamente volveré.
