I arrived on a very early flight and was completely exhausted. I asked the hotel if it was possible to check in early, and luckily, they had a room available and let me check in right away. I was so grateful to be able to take a shower and get some rest.
The hotel facilities are older than I expected, but everything I needed was there. Overall, I really appreciated their kindness and flexibility.

Todos en el Holiday Inn Staunton fueron muy amables. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y eran cómodas. El desayuno era increíble y la camarera fue extremadamente amable y servicial. ¡Recomendaría encarecidamente alojarse aquí a todo el mundo!

Se llama Hilton, pero no aceptan la tarjeta de socio de Hilton en recepción. La habitación es grande, pero todo es antiguo y no tan bueno como los hoteles de cadena nacionales.

El hotel es muy limpio y hay servicio al cliente está arriba y más allá de ellos contactaron mi teléfono para preguntar si necesito algo hay instalaciones sorprendente y le recomiendo muy bien a cualquiera que busque una salida o alguien que busque tratar allí socio a un noche fuera

This facility was easily accessed from the highway.
My room was very clean , the linens were clean and the pillows were to die for.
Breakfast had enough choices to get you on your way.
I would stay here again.

DDayTripper420Just passing through on the way South. Went to service desk, they were extremely polite and courteous, so kudos for that. Then they hit me woth the price tag of $159 for the night. ”NO WAY” is all I thought, so I went online and found a booking here on Trip.com for $102. I jumped on it. I was tired, hot, and a little aggravated from the trip, so the price on Trip.com was a relief.
I started looking around and thats when I realized that the amenities all cost. They had complimetary coffee, so YaY!
Got up to the room, it was clean. Unloaded for the night, and it was finally showertime! I do my thing, get into the shower, which was a handicapped shower. It had a chair and a detachable showerhead for those hard to reach places. Well, this is where the problems started. This showerhead was supposed to be able to be locked into position on the pole provided, you k ow, for people that can stand. Well, the damn thing didnt lock. Nope, it stayed at crotch level, and so I was forced to use the detachable showerhead.
Whatever, a shower is a shower, and boy, this shower was GREAT! Then, after my shower, I discovered that they must have wanted me to take a bath afterwards. This is because the entire bathroom floor was flooded from my shower water, and the floor was definitely not graded towards the drain, so to clean it up, one would either need a wet/dry shop-vac or a squeegee, and wouldnt you know it, I left both of mine back North, hundreds of miles away!
I ended up using the towels to basically squeegee the water to the drain and get the floor cleaned up. I wasnt aware they kept their guests on the housekeeping payroll! My partner was unable to shower cause it would have caused another mess.
So, besides the fact that if they could have charged for tap water and air, they would have, and the pool waiting for me after my shower, I had a really good stay. The bed was so comfortable I had trouble getting out of it in the morning, and the complimentary coffee turned out to be fresh. The staff understood my concerns and were extremely friendly about providing their information for when I contacted trip.com for my refund.

BBing19I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly.
The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am!
The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what?
The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member.
There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out.
The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty.
We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying.
This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality.
Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

PPHILLIP JAMESEste hotel está a aproximadamente 1 km de la estación de metro Crystal City y a unos 200 m de una farmacia CVS abierta las 24 horas. Hay un McDonald's justo afuera del hotel, lo cual es muy conveniente para un refrigerio rápido. Hay transporte gratuito al aeropuerto, pero entiendo que a veces no hay suficiente capacidad para los huéspedes. Por ejemplo, llegué a las 10:00 p. m. al aeropuerto DCA, después de esperar 30 minutos por el transporte en el aeropuerto, llegó sin espacio para equipaje ni pasajeros. Me dijeron que vendría otro transporte (otros 30 minutos), así que decidí tomar Lyft/Uber por $20 al hotel, con otro huésped del hotel. Si bien está a 1 milla del aeropuerto, es un poco difícil con el equipaje. El hotel en sí es antiguo, pero está bien mantenido. Los baños tienen un ventilador ruidoso cada vez que se enciende la luz. El escritorio es demasiado alto y la silla no es suficiente para trabajar efectivamente con la computadora, debido al problema de la altura. Aun así, la habitación es espaciosa y las camas son cómodas. Hay un depósito de $50 por noche para gastos adicionales, no por estancia. Solicité una habitación con vistas al aeropuerto y me ofrecieron lo mejor que el hotel podía ofrecer: un vistazo a los edificios circundantes, al río y algunas vistas de los aviones. En general, este hotel tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta las celebraciones del 4 de julio. Mi estancia de 4 noches fue considerablemente más barata que en otros hoteles de la zona. Sin duda, recomendaría este hotel y sigue siendo una buena opción para visitar los lugares de interés de Washington, sin el alto precio de los hoteles más cercanos al centro. Además, el metro está a unos 10 o 15 minutos a pie.

No real restaurants, but a bar and grill. Limited menu, but the food was ok. Room a little dingy. Sheets torn on bed. Hotel gives the appearance of being tired. Needs a refresh.

UUsuario invitadoThis is a lovely hotel! It's classy and elegant, and overall it'll make your vacation that much more special. The location is great, as you can walk to restaurants or other places in Luray. The Luray Caverns are a quick drive away, as is a Walmart and Food Lion, and Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap Entrance is close by. I ate at the Circa '31 restaurant for breakfast, which was reasonably priced (the menu is small with a few standard breakfast options). Free coffee and muffins in the lobby at all times. The Speakeasy restaurant is very good, and has various specials/deals each night. The bedrooms are small, but comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, with an area for bonfires and hammocks, as well as a pool and hot tub area. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
A few recommendations for the management:
~Put mini fridges in the rooms
~Put chairs on the balcony so people can use it as a sitting area
~Something to provide more counter space in the bathrooms
I recommend the Mimslyn Inn to anyone staying in the Luray area!

BBlissOctaviaIt was amazing!!! Thank you. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Customer service was awesome. Will consider this location again. My only gripe is that the 50th MCM was this weekend. It’s unfortunate that breakfast times were not adjusted for runners.
Even having quick little bags with bananas, granola bars, orange slices, water or OJ would be very considerate. One day I didn’t even use my breakfast voucher so I felt like I wasted my money.
Some of my friends had that marathon breakfast bag and I would have loved it too for the marathon day and shakeout run at the National Mall. Just something to consider. Thank you!
