¡Que tengas un gran fin de semana! Lo recomiendo para un fin de semana romántico. Piscina infinita y camastros frente al mar. Grandes cócteles. El buffet tiene opciones. Personal muy amable. Nadar a la sombra por la mañana. Al elegir, elija un clima soleado durante todo el día. #Swing up Superior El único inconveniente es el pago del aparcamiento del hotel para los residentes.

The hotel itself is very modern and nice looking. The rooms are not anything special but they are clean and have everything you need. The restaurants in the hotel are a plus, and the roomservice is therefore also delicious.

La ubicación es 10/10, justo al lado de la estación central de autobuses y tranvía con varias rutas. La habitación es grande, la cama es un poco pequeña incluso para una cama única. La iluminación está demasiado dispersa en la habitación. Hay una mesa de café acompañada del sofá que es demasiado estrecho que ponga algo en ella, se desliza. El hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad, y el hotel está muy bien situado en el centro de la ciudad. La ac funcionaba muy bien, incluso a veces fue un poco demasiado frío. El desayuno era muy agradable y se llenó casi cada minuto. También si el tiempo de desayuno podría ser más largo, sería perfecto. La parte más indecente sería la protección del sonido de las habitaciones. La pared es demasiado fina y la puerta de la habitación es demasiado pesada. Cuando alguien abrió y cerró la puerta era demasiado ruido, se sentía como un terremoto (no exagerado). El hotel está en una habitación de 3 horas, y el hotel está en una habitación de 3 horas. Mi cama estaba agitando demasiado mal. El día siguiente alguien golpeó mi puerta a las 8:00 sin decir nada. El otro día, me informé a la mesa delantera y pidió que se le recordara a mi vecino que no saltara. El personal era muy útil y amable. Sin duda, se me esperaba más para esta marca que es muy popular en todo el mundo. Si se pudiera resolver el problema de la insonorización, sin duda le daría una 9-10 de 10.

We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told we got a room “upgrade”. The room was small so we really wondered what the “original” room looked like. The bed had stains on the cover that was laid under the mattress which didn’t look good. We went down to the lobby and found nobody present. We moved on to the restaurant, it was 8 pm. Half full and we were met with the wonderful advise that they were closed for service. This was Friday May 16th and the menu board was still at the entrance door to the restaurant. We went back to the reception and queried why the restaurant was not serving dinner at 8 pm on a Friday. The receptionist looked dumbfounded and told us it usually serves dinner at least until 9 pm but she took no action to assist us except to say we could walk fir 15 minutes to the Aveny, a street with lots of restaurants but could not suggest any close by. We ended up going to, as it happened, a fantastic restaurant right around the corner called Le Pigalle on the top floor of, we guess, a competing hotel. Fabulous meal in a restaurant that knew how to treat their guests. In short we have regretfully no positive things to say about the ProfilHotels Opera in Gothenburg. Gothenburg was fantastic but when we return we will definitely not book at the Opera which is overpriced for the standard and service they offer. Total waste of money at this venue. Regretfully we did not bother to take any pictures of the place as it is nothing we wish to remember about it.

I stayed at Best Western Plus Åby Hotel for a week, and the experience was… mixed. There were a few things that worked, but also enough frustrations that I eventually decided to move on to the other hotel in the neighborhood. The breakfast was fair—not terrible, but not something I looked forward to either. To be honest, if there had been a “no breakfast” option, I would have chosen it. It felt more like something to get through than enjoy. The gym, on paper, looked impressive. It’s really big, which initially felt promising. Unfortunately, it was almost always packed in the evening from 6pm onwards. On top of that, there seemed to be a habit among local guests of standing around chatting and unintentionally blocking the equipment. As a hotel guest just wanting a proper workout, the whole gym experience ended up being quite frustrating and disappointing. The view from my room didn’t help much either—it looked straight onto the front of the race course, which was honestly quite boring and added nothing to the stay. After a week here, I decided to move to Scandic Mölndal, and the difference was noticeable right away. The fitness facilities there were much better suited for actual use, and the overall hotel environment felt calmer and more relaxing. Looking back, Best Western Plus Åby Hotel wasn’t a terrible stay, but it simply wasn’t the right fit for what I was looking for at the time.

El hotel es relativamente nuevo y limpio. La habitación era cómoda. Los camareros son cálidos y educados. Rico desayuno. Perfecto en todo sentido. Sólo hay una cosa que necesita mejorar. El baño utiliza rayos infrarrojos para monitorear el movimiento humano y encender las luces automáticamente, pero el ajuste del tiempo no es razonable. Cuando las personas se duchan, apagan las luces cuando llega el momento, lo que hace que el cuarto de baño quede a oscuras. Tienes que abrir la mampara de la ducha y agitar la mano para que se vuelva a encender la luz. Repite esta acción dos o tres veces para un baño.

The hotel’s location is excellent — just a short walk from the central station, which made getting around very convenient. However, I was disappointed by a few aspects of the stay. The hotel provides grey towels, which I found unappealing; white towels generally give a better sense of cleanliness. Breakfast was adequate, though some of the fruit offered was of poor quality. I also had concerns about the room’s cleanliness. After our first night, it didn’t seem like the room had been thoroughly cleaned — the drinking glasses we had used weren’t replaced, and some visible stains we had accidentally made were not wiped down. Additionally, the iron in the room tripped the power on both occasions we tried to use it, which was quite frustrating. The refrigerator in our room wasn’t working properly, so the drinks we stored inside remained warm. I also found the 11:00 a.m. checkout time to be inconvenient, as a later checkout would have allowed for a more relaxed departure.

Overall a pleasant stay, conveniently located near to Gothenburg Central Station and right next to Nordstan shopping mall and tram / bus links. Easy walking distance to Haga and elsewhere too.  Hotel rooms are well appointed, though proper AC would be beneficial, there with comfy beds and the bathroom is comfortable too. The gym while not large, it's better equiped that majority of hotel gyms around and enough for a workout. Never tried the pool / sauna, you have to book a time slot which just made things a little awkward to fit into our day but it's a good concept.  Only downside is the wooden floors in the hotel rooms. You can hear people walking / moving furniture easily from several rooms / floors away. While not the hotels fault, guests are so unaware with how loud they are and need to take responsibility on this. Make noise late into the evening and from 6am everyday disturbed our sleep. That would be the only negative of our stay.

Me alojé en este hotel durante mi visita a Suecia en un viaje de negocios a la Universidad de Chalmers. Llegué a las 11:00 y tenía pensado dejar mi equipaje, pero pude registrarme por la mañana, lo cual fue muy práctico. Todo el personal fue amable y las instalaciones, como el gimnasio, la lavandería, el desayuno buffet y el restaurante, estaban bien equipadas. El menú del desayuno no cambió durante mi estancia de una semana, lo cual fue un poco decepcionante, pero la comida estaba deliciosa. El entorno del hotel era tranquilo y el centro de la ciudad estaba a 15-20 minutos a pie. Me alojaría aquí de nuevo por negocios.

El personal que trabajaba en el fin de semana fue muy agradable y útil, y he estado aquí muchas veces, siempre tan agradable y tan hermoso lugar de boutique para quedarse con muchas cosas maravillosas que gustar. El día que me eché a la casa, ¿de dónde vino esta chica de repente? Aquí está la habitación de la habitación, donde se encuentra el hotel de Pigalle. En realidad, no aceptaré que las personas piensen que son mejores que todos los demás y piensan que pueden hablar con personas como si fueran un pedazo de mierda. Por lo tanto, lamentablemente, no creo que me quede aquí nunca más.. Lo siento, pero..
