My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

Estaba un poco decepcionado. Estaba esperando que esto fuera un lugar de 5 estrellas, pero había muchas cosas que no eran definitivamente 5 estrellas. Las ropas eran grises y no cubriban a las personas mayores. Uno de ellos estaba rociando todo, ni siquiera quería llevarlo. La puerta de la habitación se ahogó fuertemente, así que si una persona llegó al baño en medio de la noche, despertó a la otra persona. Había instrucciones sobre cómo usar el baño, pero no sobre cómo poner el plug-in. No sólo plug-in normalmente. No podíamos usarlo en nuestra primera noche, que fue muy frustrante, ya que fue una de nuestras principales atracciones. Alguien vino a ver y dijo que tenías que girar un cono en el lado del spa, ¿cómo lo sabría? El bloqueo en la puerta exterior se rompió y se puso un pequeño bloqueo de deslizamiento. ¿Por qué no arreglar el bloqueo principal? La casa de baño es muy buena, pero no es muy buena. La peor cosa fue en nuestra última mañana, nos dio el desayuno a las 8:45, el restaurante se cierra a las 9:30. Había huevos continentales y bacon con escombros. A las 9:00 se detuvieron trayendo más pan para tost. No se sacaron más croissants, huevos ni bacon. Había alrededor de 6 mesas con los huéspedes y todos seguían subiendo y comprobando, pero no se rellenaban. Pero por alguna razón el cuidador siguió levantando las cucharas al huevo y al bacon para ver lo que estaba allí, pero por supuesto no había nada como no lo había relleno y era el único cuidador!! Estaba muy decepcionado y no lo recomendaría, a menos que usted reciba un descuento muy bueno.

We stayed for 3 nights. Location is wonderful. 3 min walk to Regent Street where we ate our meals for 3 days straight. New modern vibe. However, during the 3 nights, every night there is few min of power outage, blackout in the room. Wat are the chances? I ask the counter but they hv no explanation.

Stayed at Wyndham Garden Christchurch and overall had a very good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was decent, with a reasonable selection to start the day. The location was convenient and the facilities were well maintained. A couple of minor drawbacks were that complimentary bottled water was not provided in the room, and parking costs an additional $20 per night, which would have been nice to have included. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would happily consider staying here again.

Breakfast is good. Location is good. Receptionists are kind and helpful. Hotel booklet mentioned the filter water is available in the lobby area but receptionist asked us to go to restaurant area to get it. However, the restaurant staff were very rude to us and questioned us. We felt we were treated like a the thefts when we just tried to fill in the hot water in our water bottles. The hot water was only available from the coffee machine, which is very inconvenient and the restaurant staff thought we tried to steal coffees when we just tried to get the hot water. Suggest not to put the water machine in the restaurant area to avoid this problem again. Very bad experience to be treat like this.

I would rate this hotel higher if I could. Location was extremely convenient, and we were able to be at the airport check-in counter within less than 5 minutes from exiting the hotel. The room was spacious, the toilet was very clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and there was a water refill station on our level which was very convenient. There was also a luggage weighing scale at the first floor which allowed us to measure our luggage before we flew back. Overall a very good experience staying at this hotel and would strongly recommend for anyone flying out of Christchurch to stay here.

10/10 is an understatement. Those things stood really out: -Building style+size & garden very beautiful -Amazing Breakfast (incl special items like Dumpling, Noodles, Fried Rice, Chicken Breast) -Staff sooo friendly All the other things great too -Spacious clean nice rooms -Great bedding, slept well -Lots of Tea/Coffee in the room -Small Gym -Free parking -Nice location (very fast in city center) -yummy cookies at check-in 😆 -Very reasonable price during our stay

El hotel era realmente increíble y un lugar maravilloso para llamar a casa por unas pocas noches. La cocina estaba totalmente equipada con todo! Horno, microondas, lavavajillas, horno, utensilios...todo! ¡Nos sorprendió que había una máquina de lavar y secar también! El hotel tiene un cuarto de baño con jacuzzi y el otro no está conectado al segundo dormitorio. El segundo dormitorio es en realidad dos supersingles juntas para que pueda solicitar esa configuración. La casa de baño de bañera es muy pequeña, ya que el agua fluye por las cuevas entre las telas de piso y hace que todo el lugar se moja. I had a cosy and comfortable stay. The friendly staff at the reception offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport next morning, a service which I had not realized was available. The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Thoughtful gestures included offering a bottle of fresh milk, which was an unexpected but lovely touch, as well as assistance in carrying of luggage to both room and on board shuttle van. All these small acts of kindness made me feel so welcomed, especially on my last night in New Zealand. :)
