Overall, we had a very good stay. The location was excellent, very close to the city centre, and parking was easy and convenient. I also really appreciated the small touches in the lobby, such as sweets, apples and water for guests. These details created a welcoming first impression. The bathroom had a little wasted space and no shelving to put toiletries. Unfortunately, there were some security concerns that the hotel should take seriously. At check-in, our room number was said out loud by the front desk clerk, which should not happen for guest safety and privacy reasons. A second issue was the handling of an additional room key. When I asked for another key, only the room number and name were requested. No ID was checked and no other verification was carried out. That makes it too easy for someone to potentially request access to a room. The most concerning part was that a housekeeper took my active room key with her. If anything had gone missing and that key had been used, I would have had no way to prove that I was not responsible. This felt like a serious staff training issue and something the hotel should fix immediately. With better staff training around room numbers, key handling and identity checks, this could easily be an excellent hotel.

Un hotel estándar en las afueras del centro, junto a una rotonda concurrida. Sin embargo, esto no supone ningún problema. Está a unos 10 minutos a pie del encantador centro. Solo utilizamos el desayuno y el bar del hotel. Se puede aparcar en el aparcamiento donde también aparcan los clientes del Dirk van de Broek; solo el Mercure tiene plaza reservada. El personal es increíblemente amable y muy atento con los clientes. Sin duda, pensamos volver. ¡Genial!

El hotel es impresionante. En cuanto entré, pensé que iba a un restaurante precioso. Hay un locker inteligente para mi equipaje, ya que llego muy temprano por la mañana. El check-in automático es muy fácil y el personal es muy amable. La habitación tipo cápsula está muy limpia y es tranquila, la cama es ENORME y cómoda, me encanta la luz inteligente que cambia de color dentro de la cápsula. El área de almacenamiento debajo de la cápsula es muy conveniente y segura (use la llave de la habitación para abrirla). Hay muchas duchas y baños, por lo que no es necesario hacer cola. La temperatura del agua y la presión son perfectas, y hay toallas, champú, acondicionador, gel de ducha y secador de pelo disponibles para usar. Estoy muy feliz con la estadía, lamentablemente no tuve la oportunidad de probar su comida, pero estoy más que feliz de volver a hospedarme y probar la comida y la bebida. Por cierto, está a solo un par de minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Utrecht, con muchos restaurantes, cafés y tiendas alrededor.

Was extremely pleased with the room - in fact, I have just booked the same for my next work trip. Very comfortable, stylish room. Small wardrobe for hanging clothes (seems obvious, but I had just stayed in a Hilton Hampton a few days before, and there was not so much as a coat hook). Great bathroom, with nice fragrance toiletries. Robe & slippers for relaxing. Important for me - desk / work place (although desk lamp didn't work) And of course, hotel is perfectly located near Utrecht Central, an important transit point. Thank you, team

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en el Hampton. ¡La ubicación lo es todo! Está justo al lado de la estación de tren y dentro del centro comercial. Hay muchas opciones para comer y comprar. El barrio es muy transitable y hay mucho que ver.

Room is not big but with high ceiling, I don't feel it too small. Mini bar in room offer free coffee capsule x 6pcs!! I finished 5 for the 2 evenings. 😁 Room is a bit cold with aircon, and started getting too warm after a few hours of heating. Common problem for hotels. It will be better if the shower bracket can be adjusted. But already feeling satisfied with the steaming hot water + good water pressure. In general, the stay is a good experience.

I stayed here while visiting Utrecht for a rave, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. After an incredible night out, coming back to such a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel was absolute bliss. The bed deserves a mention — it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! Especially after hours of dancing, it felt like laying in heaven. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and professional, and the whole place had a really calm, relaxing vibe. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to recharge after such a great event. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Utrecht — especially if you’re here for a night out and want somewhere peaceful and pristine to crash afterwards!

Sin embargo, fue decepcionante que el estacionamiento no fue gratuito ni siquiera para los huéspedes del hotel. Cuando ya pagas alrededor de 1.000 € por un estancia de una semana, tener que pagar más cada día por estacionamiento se siente innecesario y deja una mala impresión. This hotel is far from the city centre, but there’s a bus from Utrecht Central Station (Bus 73). The hotel was cheaper than hotels in the city centre, that’s why we chose this instead, haha. The room style was retro 1980s, but everything is fully functional, so it doesn’t matter to us. The room size was big too, and there’s a bathtub. Breakfast was quite OK, and since it’s not easy to find anything to do in the morning in Holland since most shops and restaurants are still closed before 10 a.m., we just added this last minute for €19.50/pp. Next time, it’s better to book a room with breakfast when staying in Holland. I always forgot this.
