## Transporte Si vienes desde Tokio, por ejemplo, Shinjuku, bájate en la parada 'Fuji-san Yamanakako Iriguchi (138)', lado B. Sin embargo, al comprar los billetes en la página web de highwaybus, esta parada no aparecía. Por eso compré hasta la estación de Asahigaoka; el precio es el mismo y el autobús también para allí (toca el timbre), así que no hubo ningún problema. Una vez en la parada de autobús, llama al hotel y en pocos minutos vendrá un servicio de transporte. Una vez en el hotel, no olvides reservar también la hora del servicio de transporte para la vuelta. ## Entorno El hotel está en la montaña, con unas vistas muy claras del monte Fuji. Aunque el hotel tiene sus años y las instalaciones son un poco antiguas, están muy bien conservadas. ## Servicio El personal es muy amable y atento. Si has reservado la cena, debes confirmarlo con el hotel con antelación; Ctrip también te llamará para preguntar si prefieres comida japonesa o occidental. Si no has reservado la cena, puedes consultar la página web del hotel, elegir lo que quieras comer y reservar con antelación. La cena empieza a las 6 de la tarde, ¡recuerda ser puntual! ## Onsen (Baños Termales) Hay dos onsen, y en uno de ellos puedes bañarte mientras disfrutas de las vistas del monte Fuji, lo cual es muy placentero. Sin embargo, un detalle es que el onsen no proporciona toallas, ¡así que asegúrate de llevar la tuya! Pero al hacer el check-in, nadie nos avisó que teníamos que llevar las toallas de la habitación al onsen, ni tampoco vimos ningún aviso en la habitación. (Aunque vi a otros huéspedes con toallas, no sé dónde habrán visto esa información o si se me escapó 🤔). En resumen, es un hotel excelente, ideal para un viaje tranquilo y unas vacaciones relajadas. La próxima vez, me gustaría quedarme unos días más 😊

La ubicación no está cerca de la estación de Kawaguchiko, pero sí del parque Oike, la principal zona de fuegos artificiales de invierno. Está justo enfrente y se puede oír la música. No hay artículos de aseo gratuitos ni pequeños sobres de loción que encontrarías en un típico hotel de aguas termales. El personal de recepción parecía ser hablante nativo de inglés, así que pudimos comunicarnos en inglés, pero a altas horas de la noche no había recepcionista y el guardia de seguridad solo hablaba japonés. La habitación mostraba signos de antigüedad, la cama era muy dura y solo había una almohada fina, lo que dificultaba el sueño. El baño privado era diminuto, apenas lo suficientemente ancho como para que una persona se diera la vuelta. Sin embargo, las ventanas tenían puertas aislantes que mantenían la habitación caliente cuando estaban cerradas, y el aire acondicionado y la calefacción eran muy potentes. El desayuno consistía en cocina tradicional japonesa, abundante y delicioso.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Yatsugatake as a family traveling with a baby. The hotel is surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the mountains, which immediately creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for families who want to slow down and breathe. The hotel is very family-friendly. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everyone was kind, patient, and attentive, which really made a difference for us as parents. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with enough space to comfortably stay with a baby. We especially appreciated the peaceful environment at night, which allowed our baby (and us!) to rest well. The facilities were also well suited for families. The common areas are easy to navigate with a stroller, and the overall layout of the hotel feels relaxed and not overwhelming. The natural surroundings add a special charm and make the stay feel refreshing and rejuvenating. Overall, Grand Mercure Yatsugatake is an excellent choice for families with babies who are looking for comfort, tranquility, and good service in a beautiful natural setting. We would definitely consider coming back and recommend it to other families traveling with young children.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Shimobe Hotel. I originally wanted to stay at a nearby temple in Mount Minobe but realized that it was mainly an experience made for foreigners. I think we were the only foreigners there for our 2-night stay. I personality want to avoid staying with foreigners and want more of the local experience. The service was great, they could check you in and out without too much of a language barrier. We added dinner during check-in without any problem, we realized that the town closed early at night and was concerned that we wouldn't find a great place to eat dinner. The buffet dinner was great and we got a complimentary sashimi plate and yuzu highball on our second day. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a mix of local and western dishes. The station is located right near the hotel so it makes it a perfect spot to make a quick Mount Minobe day trip.

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app. If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer. The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too. Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

客室は口コミ通りだった。トイレットペーパーの設置場所が悪くて使いにくい。客室設置の風呂。浸からなかったが、水をひねると異臭が酷かった。部屋にあるホット対応グラスは悪くなかった。館内にスリッパの用意がなくて困った。大浴場は露天風呂やサウナも多数あり楽しめてよい。朝食やウェルカムドリンクサービスもよい。日中や夜の食事何処も悪く無い。ただ夜は酔っ払いの客が多くて、臭くて騒がしくてイライラした。 全体的には悪く無い宿。また利用したい。

El hotel está muy cerca del lago Kawaguchi, lo que lo convierte en un punto de partida ideal para explorar sus alrededores. También está cerca de tiendas. El dueño fue muy amable; me ayudó con mi equipaje en la planta superior e incluso me acompañó a la estación cuando me marché. La habitación es perfecta para familias, con tatamis japoneses estándar. Hay que bajar a la planta baja para ducharse, pero se pueden encontrar artículos de aseo en la habitación. El ambiente es muy confortable.

A short drive from Lake Yamanaka, we checked into here for the night—mainly because we wanted to explore the area and try the region’s famous Hōtō noodles. We chose a traditional Japanese futon room for the experience. That meant laying out our own beds—slightly clumsy, a bit of trial and error, and a lot of laughing when we realised there’s no “redo” once everything’s set. The weather had a chill to it, so the onsen became the highlight. Stepping into the hot water while the cold air lingered outside—it slowed everything down in a way you don’t realise you need. Nothing extravagant, nothing overly planned. Just the four of us, figuring things out as we went. Looking back, it wasn’t the hotel or even the lake—it was those small, unpolished moments that made the night feel complete.

This is truly the perfect place to stay in Kawaguchiko. The service was exceptional from start to finish, warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from the room. Waking up to Fuji in the morning felt unreal. Having a private in-room onsen made the experience even more special soaking in the hot spring while facing Mount Fuji is something that hits differently and is hard to put into words. Dinner and breakfast were both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, turning every meal into a memorable experience. Fufu Kawaguchiko delivered an unforgettable stay, where comfort, tranquility, and understated luxury came together perfectly.

La tienda era espaciosa, elegantemente amueblada y equipada con comodidades modernas para una estancia confortable. La barbacoa al aire libre nos permitió disfrutar de una cena divertida y deliciosa bajo las estrellas. El personal fue amable y atento, asegurándose de que tuviéramos todo lo necesario.
