## Transporte Si vienes desde Tokio, por ejemplo, Shinjuku, bájate en la parada 'Fuji-san Yamanakako Iriguchi (138)', lado B. Sin embargo, al comprar los billetes en la página web de highwaybus, esta parada no aparecía. Por eso compré hasta la estación de Asahigaoka; el precio es el mismo y el autobús también para allí (toca el timbre), así que no hubo ningún problema. Una vez en la parada de autobús, llama al hotel y en pocos minutos vendrá un servicio de transporte. Una vez en el hotel, no olvides reservar también la hora del servicio de transporte para la vuelta. ## Entorno El hotel está en la montaña, con unas vistas muy claras del monte Fuji. Aunque el hotel tiene sus años y las instalaciones son un poco antiguas, están muy bien conservadas. ## Servicio El personal es muy amable y atento. Si has reservado la cena, debes confirmarlo con el hotel con antelación; Ctrip también te llamará para preguntar si prefieres comida japonesa o occidental. Si no has reservado la cena, puedes consultar la página web del hotel, elegir lo que quieras comer y reservar con antelación. La cena empieza a las 6 de la tarde, ¡recuerda ser puntual! ## Onsen (Baños Termales) Hay dos onsen, y en uno de ellos puedes bañarte mientras disfrutas de las vistas del monte Fuji, lo cual es muy placentero. Sin embargo, un detalle es que el onsen no proporciona toallas, ¡así que asegúrate de llevar la tuya! Pero al hacer el check-in, nadie nos avisó que teníamos que llevar las toallas de la habitación al onsen, ni tampoco vimos ningún aviso en la habitación. (Aunque vi a otros huéspedes con toallas, no sé dónde habrán visto esa información o si se me escapó 🤔). En resumen, es un hotel excelente, ideal para un viaje tranquilo y unas vacaciones relajadas. La próxima vez, me gustaría quedarme unos días más 😊

Gracias al hotel por hacer que nuestro viaje a Hakone fuera memorable. Aparte de la ubicación un poco remota y el inconveniente transporte público, todo lo demás estuvo bastante bien. Si vas en coche, definitivamente lo recomiendo.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure Yatsugatake as a family traveling with a baby. The hotel is surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the mountains, which immediately creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for families who want to slow down and breathe. The hotel is very family-friendly. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everyone was kind, patient, and attentive, which really made a difference for us as parents. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with enough space to comfortably stay with a baby. We especially appreciated the peaceful environment at night, which allowed our baby (and us!) to rest well. The facilities were also well suited for families. The common areas are easy to navigate with a stroller, and the overall layout of the hotel feels relaxed and not overwhelming. The natural surroundings add a special charm and make the stay feel refreshing and rejuvenating. Overall, Grand Mercure Yatsugatake is an excellent choice for families with babies who are looking for comfort, tranquility, and good service in a beautiful natural setting. We would definitely consider coming back and recommend it to other families traveling with young children.

For any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints. Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one. It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more.

Esta vez vine al lago Kawaguchi, elegí quedarme en este hotel centenario, que fue muy bueno. La ubicación del hotel está un poco lejos de la estación Kawaguchiko. Se recomienda utilizar el autobús de enlace designado por el hotel para llegar al hotel en unos 10 minutos. Aunque el tío que conducía el coche era muy mayor, era muy eficiente. Si ve un pasajero, tomará la iniciativa de recoger su equipaje. Las sillas con cojines se colocarán antes de subir y bajar del autobús para que nos sea más fácil subir y bajar del autobús. Si no puede tomar el autobús del hotel, también puede optar por tomar el autobús de la línea verde desde la estación Kawaguchiko hasta la estación Shikishima Nomatsu. Hay una señal que indica el hotel donde se baja. Sin embargo, la Línea Verde sale cada hora, por lo que hay que prestar atención al tiempo de viaje. El ambiente del hotel es muy bueno, con jardines que rodean todo el hotel. Frente al monte Fuji, debes elegir una habitación con vistas a la montaña. Las ventanas de la habitación ofrecen una vista panorámica del monte Fuji, lo cual es muy impactante. El Hotel B1 también cuenta con aguas termales cubiertas y al aire libre, y la comida sabe bien. El recepcionista de la recepción le explicará cada instalación en detalle y es amable y atento, lo que hace que la gente se sienta muy relajada. El único inconveniente es que básicamente no hay restaurantes alrededor, por lo que puedes elegir el hotel para cenar o ir al 7-11 cercano para empacar la comida de regreso al hotel.

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app. If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer. The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too. Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

客室は口コミ通りだった。トイレットペーパーの設置場所が悪くて使いにくい。客室設置の風呂。浸からなかったが、水をひねると異臭が酷かった。部屋にあるホット対応グラスは悪くなかった。館内にスリッパの用意がなくて困った。大浴場は露天風呂やサウナも多数あり楽しめてよい。朝食やウェルカムドリンクサービスもよい。日中や夜の食事何処も悪く無い。ただ夜は酔っ払いの客が多くて、臭くて騒がしくてイライラした。 全体的には悪く無い宿。また利用したい。

We stay in the cottage room type so we have the whole house to ourselves 😄. Over all it was so great staying here. The cottage basically have: 1. 3 bed room with twin bed 2. Living room 3. Kitchen 4. Japanese style living room 5. Back yard 6. 1 shower room 7. 2 toilet On top of that the hotel has a great observatory deck you can visit and see Mount Fuji clearly The highlights of my stay here is probably the Onsen (Hot Springs). I try that and it was amazing, its clean and you can enjoy the onsen and seeing mount fuji in front of you (cant take pictures cause the hotel forbid to take picture in the onsen area)

Warm and cozy place to recharge yourself after a visit in the Kawaguchiko area. All amenities and facilities are just perfectly clean and easily accessible, while they are keeping some of the Japanese customs which adds more elements in your stay. Host and staff were extremely friendly and attentive, just right by your side whenever you need them. Deffo recommend without reservation if you’re visiting Kawaguchiko soon.

A short drive from Lake Yamanaka, we checked into here for the night—mainly because we wanted to explore the area and try the region’s famous Hōtō noodles. We chose a traditional Japanese futon room for the experience. That meant laying out our own beds—slightly clumsy, a bit of trial and error, and a lot of laughing when we realised there’s no “redo” once everything’s set. The weather had a chill to it, so the onsen became the highlight. Stepping into the hot water while the cold air lingered outside—it slowed everything down in a way you don’t realise you need. Nothing extravagant, nothing overly planned. Just the four of us, figuring things out as we went. Looking back, it wasn’t the hotel or even the lake—it was those small, unpolished moments that made the night feel complete.
