SSam and LeeWe booked two nights at Yiyi Haisu hotel to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a wider view of Dalian's Venice city and sea. The room was large, comfortable and warm. The bedding was comfy and a dream to sleep on.
The reception was very helpful and provided everything that we asked for. We had a great time and would love to come back again ;-)

I can sum up my stay in one word: exceptional value.
The room was very spacious with a million-dollar view, all at a very friendly price. There is a washing machine in the room, and hot water was not an issue at all during winter. Just a small tip: avoid showering while the washing machine is running, as it seems to draw the hot water away. At first, I thought there was a food warmer or stove, but this room does not have one. However, the staff kindly allowed us to use the microwave at the office.
The host was incredibly helpful and always replied very quickly on WeChat — so fast that I honestly wondered if they ever slept! 😄
The bedding was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was smooth and flexible; we could easily request cleaning or refills on the days we needed them. If there is one area for improvement, I would suggest renovating some details, such as repainting areas where the paint is peeling and re-sealing the sink edges and other parts of the bathroom.
There was a slight cigarette smell in the room, but it really depends on how sensitive you are. For us, opening the window for ventilation or using a spray solved the issue easily. Some noise from other areas was noticeable, as there is a gym on the same floor, and during our stay it was New Year’s, so there were some party noises. That said, this can happen anywhere and is not something the property can fully control.
Getting there was easy — we took a taxi directly to the hotel address. Check-in is on the 23rd floor, Room 19, where they provide the room number and access code. Wi-Fi is available, and only a passport is needed for registration. For check-out, simply notify them via WeChat.
Around the hotel, there are a few small local eateries within walking distance, though we did not notice a convenience store nearby.
Overall, I would rate this place excellent. I’m not judging it by hotel star standards, but by value for money — and what we received was far beyond what we paid for. Highly recommended!

Whether it was the concierge offering insightful local recommendations, the housekeeping team maintaining impeccable discretion, or the waitstaff being both knowledgeable and patient, the level of professionalism was uniformly high. It felt less like a transaction and more like being welcomed into a well-managed home.
The facilities were equally impressive and clearly designed with guest comfort and convenience in mind. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed, blending modern amenities with a sense of comfort. The common areas, from the lobby lounge to the fitness center and pool, were maintained to a high standard, offering beautiful and functional spaces to relax or rejuvenate. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, contributing to an atmosphere of refined relaxation.
As for the food, it was a highlight of the experience. Dining was a pleasure, with a menu that offered both classic favorites and inventive dishes. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, each meal was beautifully presented, and the flavors were consistently excellent. It was clear that the culinary team takes great pride in their craft, making every meal something to look forward to.
In summary, my experience was outstanding across the board. The impeccable service, superior facilities, and delightful cuisine combined to create a perfect stay. I left feeling thoroughly refreshed and already looking forward to the next opportunity to return. This establishment has truly mastered the art of hospitality.

La habitación era muy buena, la limpieza merece una mención especial, la señora era muy amable, útil y hizo su trabajo perfecto.
El proceso de inspección fue un poco confuso, pero la comunicación se organizó previamente a través de WeChat, pero las respuestas no fueron muy respondentes. Este proceso parece más adecuado para los locales que pueden hacer llamadas directas fácilmente para resolver las cosas, y puede no ser la experiencia más amistosa de los extranjeros.
En general, una buena estancia gracias a la ubicación ideal y un excelente servicio de limpieza, pero se prepara para algunos retos de comunicación durante la llegada.

Al principio, me sentí un poco preocupado al no encontrar la recepción en la planta principal, pero unos minutos después, una amable y servicial empleada me atendió. Me acompañó a mi habitación, me explicó todos los servicios y me permitió disfrutar de la espaciosa y cómoda habitación con una vista inigualable.
Al día siguiente, después de correr el Maratón de Dalian, estaba completamente agotado. Para mi sorpresa, la misma amable señora consiguió que extendiera mi estancia dos horas e incluso me ayudó personalmente a conseguir un taxi. Estoy realmente agradecido por su excepcional hospitalidad. ¡Muchísimas gracias!

UUsuario invitadoOur recent stay at the apartment was overall a positive experience. The location was excellent, situated conveniently near the university, which was our primary objective. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with shops downstairs offering various food options for our convenience.
However, there were a few areas that could have been improved. Firstly, there was no daily cleaning service provided, which was a bit of a disappointment. Secondly, only one bath towel was provided, which was insufficient for our needs. On the first day of our stay, we were asked to wait due to a window being broken in the original booking, which although understandable, was still an inconvenience.
The owner was polite and communicated effectively through phone, which was appreciated. The Ayi who was there to open the apartment for us was not as accommodating, however. She shouted at us for using one of the bath towels as a step-out mat from the shower, which we felt was an unnecessary reaction. Due to the fact that the tiles are slippery after showering,The shower itself was a bit inconvenient as it did not have doors, allowing water to easily flow out into the room but we managed to adjust the direction of the shower head and make it work.
For future guests, we would recommend topping up the toilet rolls and toothpaste to ensure a more comfortable stay for three days .
Overall, despite the few shortcomings, the apartment was comfortable and clean, and we would consider staying there again in the future.

AAndrew Lim Rui KunThe location is excellent — Somerset Heping Shenyang sits right next to the main shopping street, which makes it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring the city on foot. It’s one of those places where everything you need is just steps away.
We stayed in a 3‑bedroom apartment, and the space was genuinely impressive. The layout is generous, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the overall environment feels comfortable and homelike. It’s a great setup for families or groups who want both privacy and shared space. The apartment had everything we needed for a smooth stay.

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel no está en una zona céntrica, pero es muy conveniente; el centro comercial y la estación de metro están justo al lado. En general, el personal es atento. No ofrecen lujos como mejoras de habitación, grandes sonrisas ni recuerdos, pero algunos empleados son muy considerados, como las mujeres del gimnasio y el técnico que enviaron a mi habitación para arreglar el aire acondicionado. ¡Un diez para su excelente servicio! Las comodidades son de estilo clásico, pero lo que más me gustó fue la bañera y la lavadora en la habitación.
