Western QLD - Birdsville or Bust
Just a local crossing of flood plains. pretty fun to see after driving 1000km. The crossing is only 100m long or so

Great for bird life; trees, shade and peace and quiet.
Fabulous bush camping by the Cooper Creek (Big River !) as there are lots of trees, shade and birds both on the water and out. Not many were camping - perhaps due to Covid? The Lady at the Visitors...

Way bigger than expected
Interesting to cross such an historic part of the country. Much larger than one would have thought. There is a information marker explaining the first explorers visit.
