We started with Hidden vlei. No one there before us. Which was good. But I would still say first thing in the morning go for big daddy first for the panoramas and because of the cooler temperatures.

Hidden Vlei

You should first visit Hiddenvlei and afterwards Deadvlei, for the simple reason Hiddenvlei is not that spectacular as Deadvlei but less crowed, a very good photo (nature) opportunity.

Almost as nice as Deadvlei, but without the crowds

We first visited Deadvlei and than the Hiddenvlie. It was worth the effort in the heat as we had this place to ourselves and not with hundred other tourists.
