Great afternoon learning about sake!
We recently visited the Yamamura Sake Brewery while touring the Mt. Aso region with Japanese friends. Our friends called ahead to make the arrangements so unfortunately I don’t know what’s involved, ...
In the city of Takamori Town. It is a brewery that produces sake "Reizan". Unlike the gorgeous sake that is popular these days, the clean mouth matches any dish. Miniatures and materials that show the state of sake brewing are also exhibited in the brewery. It's a good idea to stop by while sightseeing in Aso.
It is a long-established sake brewery that has been in business for more than 250 years and is famous for its brand "Reizan". At the direct sales office, glasses and drinks were also sold in addition to sake. By the way, one cup was 300 yen. The gallery of the warehouse was proudly displayed with colored papers of successive prime ministers, which were written as "kokusake."
There are Aso and sake limited to the store, so we recommend that you ask the clerk before purchasing it. You can also sample it, so you can buy it afterwards. By the way, it's delicious enough.
Yamamura Sake Brewery is famous for its delicious sake in Kumamoto. I've been drinking it many times, but this time I had a chance to go to Minami Aso, so I stopped by to buy "Reizan". Everything is delicious, but this time I got a little excited and bought Junmai Sake. However, it is a pity that I couldn't take a closer look because the store is small and the products are centered around the back of the store.

Blessed sake produced by Aso's soft water
