Lovely cove with great rock formations
Lovely cove with great rock formations. Easy parking. The nearby Stradbally village is also worth visit - very well kept.

A wee gem ... took picnic, had a swim and enjoyed the beach, which has not been created for visitors as an attraction it’s simply a natural beauty.

Nice beach
Not the best beach in the area - I recommend Ballydwan instead. As an advice, leave the car in the town and walk downhill. Not only will save you grief over the parking lot at the beach, but will also...

Unfortunately no facilities
We visited the Cove today. We love this beach, clean, tranquil and easy to walk. The big drawback in the Public Toilets are not open. Last time we visited they were closed also

We stopped here while exploring the Copper Coast. Fortunately the tide was out during our visit so we were able to walk a fair distance out into the cove. The golden sand is silky soft and very beauti...
