Very impressive landscape, nice hiking opportunities, plenty of spots to go for a picnic between the wondering sheep

Stunning mountain road
An excellent drive, with beautiful views and definately a feeling of remoteness. There is a small fee to drive it, which you pay with cash or card at an automat.

An Amazing Drive
This road is a must when visiting Norway. It is closed in winter but I would recommend autumn when the hills and valleys are all golden with trees and the moss and lichen is beautiful.
