Locked gate awaits you.
60 years ago, our family would poke around there, looking for treasure. We never found much. My first encounter with a rattle snake, is the most memorable.

Amazing view all around great place. A must see if you travel to Utah. Top 5 stop in Utah. Great for the whole family.

Don’t bother!
As stated in other reviews, which we hadn’t read unfortunately, you can no longer get to Mercur. The road is gated by a mining company. Very disappointed.

Unable to see it
You are unable to get there due to Barrick Company. The road is blocked. Barrick is a gold, silver, and cooper mining company. There headquarters is in Cananda with an office in Salt Lake City.
