Although the monastery is in the castle area, it is relatively remote and not close to other attractions. Take tram 22, 25 to Brevnovsky Klaster and get off. It's right by the roadside. See a green spire and walk over. Unlike the city's territorial constraints, the place is spacious and quiet, beside which there is a small lake, a very leisure place. Because there are few tourists, there are no signs in English.
A beautiful church and area to visit. Opening times and tour availability are impacted by holidays.
The monastery of Brenov is a large place. There are several different rooms deep in the monastery. It only requires nuns'accommodation, but it is still very strict with the outside world.
This monastery is located outside the city centre away from the crowds of tourists. It's in a district called Brevnov and it's relatively easy to get a tram here from the centre. The monastery is peaceful and calm and the main thing to see is the church which is worth walking inside. The best part of this place though is the beautiful park and grounds. There is also an amazing Czech restaurant on-site which serves a lot of traditional dishes including roast duck.
