Tick infested bog area
I have never seen a worse tick infestation. The so-called lake is little more than a boggy area with no visual worth visiting.

Absolutely favorite place to hold a Large family gathering during the summer. Shelter 2 is our favorite to rent. Easy view/access to swimming area, horseshoe pits, volleyball, kids play area, hiking, ...

Not my first place to visit while in Peterborough
Lets face it, unless you kayak paddle board or hike this is not the first place I would visit in Peterborough. There are some very beautiful vistas in the Dam area but. you can't readily drive to it....

One of our favorite walks in Peterborough. Easy going on gravel and dirt path on the east side of the lake. Good for birding in season. Often have other wildlife sightings. Family and dog-friendly...
