I dream of going back

I've only been to a handful of onsens in Japan but this was my absolute favourite. Having the luxury of being on a rooftop onsen was everything fantastic.

まさに駅前温泉

青梅線河辺駅を出るとすぐに分かります。 平日は高齢者の憩いの場、休日は奥多摩方面の観光客が立ち寄っている感じです。 駅近のため浴室がやや狭く、肝心の天然温泉の浴槽も少なくて残念です。 しかし、泉質はツルニュル感がありました。 脱衣所も狭くて動線が悪いです。 もうちょっとお客を考えたレイアウトにした方がよいと思います。

登山の帰りに

奥多摩登山の帰りに立ち寄りました。最初、料金が高いと思いました。しかし、ロッカーも広いし、設備も露天風呂含めてしっかりしているので、納得しました。何より、駅から見える場所にあるのが素晴らしいです。奥多摩登山は銭湯問題があったのですが、梅の湯で解決できそうです。
