Impressive, even if you're not a LOTR fan
Short walk over uneven terrain to get to Meads Wall. I cant begin to imagine what forces were at play to leave such an unusual natural structure. Its size really only becomes apparent when up close....

I finally at the end of a superb skiing day at whakapapa did the walk to meads wall spectacular will need to watch the movie again
