Water, water everywhere
We were surprised to see so much water in Lake George. We pulled into the rest stop to enjoy the views over the lake. There was water almost as far as you could see.

I drive a lot between Sydney and Canberra and Lake George has a been not much more than a pitiful puddle for many years, that's if it contained any water at all. Drove to/from Canberra in late January...

Get in while it is there..
Get on soon , been coming to Canberra off and on for 50 years only the second time to see the lake full or filling (?). It is worth the trip to gave a look
