Interesting to see the customs at the border
Worth a trip just to stand one foot in Finland and the other in Norway. The first time I visited it was shrouded in fog but I was able to see the amazing scenery around on the second visit.

Impressive bridge
If you visit Utsjoki then take a minute to check the Sami Bridge too; it's quite impressive bridge crossing the river Teno which runs between Finland and Norway.

Great views and impressive Bridge between Finland and Norway on Teno river
Worth a drive over for the views. Doesn't take much time, so once you are there, you really should do it.

Beautiful in the winter twilight
The bridge was covered with snow and the view was beautiful. I don’t see any cars crossing, but there were snowmobiles going under the bridge.

Neat architecture, and a fun photo op at the sign in the middle where you can stand in both Finland and Norway at once!
