Hometown

The old courthouse has been beautifully restored. This is the second court house on this spot. The 1st one burned many years ago . It is not use for an active courthouse anymore.

A good overview of the history of the region

Several rooms devoted to Native Americans, turn of the century, and Civil War collections. Gift shop. Old courthouse upstairs is as it was in 1890 including pot belly stoves and pews.

Great place for a visit

A great historical place in downtown Iuka, Ms. A lot of history of Iuka in one place, and period dressed greeters. If you enjoy 1800's history' check this place out.
