5月の連休で帰省した時にかならずのぞきます。ちょうど陶器まつりをやっていて、半値でお買い物ができるコーナーがあります。地元の土を使った、味のある陶器。焼きあがった色や模様はまさに1点もので、あーだこーだと探していると時間がたつのを忘れてしまいます。独特の風合いからか、お皿はお皿として使う以外に、いろいろな使い方があるかも？と想像力が刺激されます。漬物を盛ったらぜったい映えるよね！という小皿から、普...

見学もできます

リンゴ畑の前にあります。展示販売や体験の他に、窯の見学も出来ます。邪魔にならないように入口からそっと見ていたら、「どうぞ、中に入ってください」と云ってくださって、親切に色々と説明してくれました。見ごたえのある大きな窯でこれだけでも行ったかいがありました。

備前も真っ青！

本州最北の窯場として知られる津軽金山焼は、その昔はリンゴ畑が広がっていたんだそうです。ただ近くに陶器を焼くのに適した土があったので、木を切り倒し、整地して窯場を作り上げ、チャレンジ精神を発揮して、備前焼に負けぬ肌合いの素晴らしい陶器を焼き続けておられます。頑張れ！津軽金山焼き！
