It has private grounds
We were not too stoked that there is a private no go area for visitors inside this reserve. Birds plenty in and around city.

Fantastic
I absolutely love this place. Don’t forget to bring bird feed. The nature is epic as we saw an owl? Well maybe we did. The walk is a couple of miles which isn’t too bad.

Great, but not a round walk
All good, except that the Castle grounds themselves are private, so you can't make a round walk, ie around the lake, unless streets in the town itself.

Wonderful place to walk, read and gaze.
My husband had several walks around the nature reserve but felt he had only just started to explore the place. I sat by the lake called curiously “hen poo” and loved it. A very special place.
