The park campsites, restrooms, trails and exhibits are top notch but the park host in the Airstream needs to be run out of town

NIce hiking trails but poorly marked.
We enjoyed hiking the trails, but found them to be poorly marked. The trail map was not much help. One highlight of our hike was seeing a coral snake cross the trail ahead of us. Beautiful critter but...

Oldest Texas State Park
This is the oldest state park in Texas and one of the smallest. There are two easy trails and four moderate trails to hike. Points of interest: the cave, CCC picnic table, and CCC water tower.
