Many a story is to be told about the old pioneering spirits. The tales of hardship and toil, in the outback. Also a great memorial to Dr. Fred Hollows Eye Surgeon, the coolabah trees overhead.

Go early when it’s not too hot. Some interesting old headstones and a good overall picture of how harsh life was at times. Go and get a mud map from the visitor info centre which gives you some marker...
