Memorial might have been "cute" when original, but now it is rundown and not worth seeing. I guess the "hippie" movement died along with the memorial.

Really Cool

It was really cool. It was a quick stop and a nice work of art. It's free and you can even drive up to it.

Americana

This is an awesome thing to see on a quiet afternoon trip to Arcola Illinois. You can read the message behind the man to understand why it was built.

Neat local attraction

Very cool that this would be in the middlle of nowhere. Neat tribute to very cool era of our past. Remembering the old hippies, worth a side trip.

Groovy

It's a neat thing to see. Definitely makes me realize I was born too late. It brings a peaceful feeling just standing there.
