It was a delightful stay at the Forest View Villa. The food was delicious, especially the rolled pancakes for breakfast and the view amazing. We highly recommend this place. As the train connection between Kandy and Ella is not yet (end of February 2026) working, due to the devastating cyclon in December 25, you might want to consider asking your host to drive you. It might be less stressful than changing busses 3 times.

Our stay at the Villa was absolutely perfect. The villa is luxury, with a big clean infinity pool looking out to the most stunning views. It is uo in the hills above Kandy - so it is so peaceful and quiet, it was so relaxing we didn’t leave the whole time. The staff are amazing - so friendly and kind, they go above and beyond. Brian is a superb manager - massive thanks to him!!! The food at the restaurant was so delicious. I will be recommending the Villa to all my family and friends, and we will definitely come back again ourselves.

We recently stayed at W15 Glenfall Nuwara Eliya on a bed & breakfast basis, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We were given one of the most centered rooms with the largest balcony, offering a lovely view — definitely a highlight of our stay. The room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities available. The interior felt luxurious and cozy, and the entire property is well maintained. The washroom was quite large, with basic amenities provided, and they mentioned via WhatsApp that any additional items could be requested. However, I requested two dental kits and even followed up twice, but unfortunately they were not delivered. Check-in was smooth and quick, and parking is conveniently available with a friendly and helpful security officer. The small lawn area is also nicely maintained and adds to the charm of the property. Their pre-order dining system is quite efficient, dinner needs to be ordered before 6 pm and breakfast before 10 pm the previous night. The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the English breakfast, which was very well prepared. The staff were generally attentive and helpful, contributing positively to the stay. However, it would be nice to see a welcome drink at check-in, and since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, a small gesture like a cake or simple decoration would have made it more special. Also, the rooms are not fully soundproof, as some noise from the kitchen and lobby could be heard. Overall, it’s a beautiful and comfortable property in Nuwara Eliya, ideal for a relaxing getaway. With a few improvements in attention to detail, the experience could be even better. 🌿✨

整體環境不錯，位置有些偏遠，遠離鬧市，景色相當不錯。不足之處是房內設施比較老舊，燈光昏暗，廁所比較簡陋，門鎖也比較古老。

A really lovely house, clean and in a quiet location outside of the centre of town. The absolute star of this listing is the host Shameera who is one of the best there could be. He’s incredibly responsive on WhatsApp and always on hand with great tips and ideas on where to go and what to do. His breakfast was also exemplary. Thanks for a great stay

La habitación de tres personas es dos camas gemelas de la misma tamaño, una sola planta, un edificio de la casa, al fin y al cabo, estamos bien entre los dos y los dos pequeños estancias, y la zona de la habitación es grande. La ubicación es muy conveniente para ir al lago, y probablemente se puede llegar a tres o cinco minutos de coche. Lo único que no es suficiente es el restaurante. Es mejor que se pregunte antes de cenar en el hotel, porque hay un chef en el restaurante, todo lo que hacemos ahora. Nos sentamos en el restaurante durante unos 40 minutos para comer.

El paisaje del lago es generalmente amarillo, acaba de encontrar un festival, se ha quedado a media noche, experimentar grandes descuentos. El interior del hotel es todavía grande, la decoración es muy elegante, no es el tipo de superficie, el sentido de la sensibilidad y los detalles están disponibles. Hay una sensación de regreso a la región del lago y la altura del Reino Unido. La cena está en línea, pero el precio no es barato. Creo que la bebida de bienvenida es buena, y necesita un poco más, el plato también se ha cogido un montón de dinero. El día siguiente, la comida es la fabricación de desayuno, pero el plato es un montón. El café negro es gratis, el hierro es necesario para pagar...Aunque no hay problema, la experiencia es muy mala.
