We recently stayed at W15 Glenfall Nuwara Eliya on a bed & breakfast basis, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We were given one of the most centered rooms with the largest balcony, offering a lovely view — definitely a highlight of our stay. The room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities available. The interior felt luxurious and cozy, and the entire property is well maintained. The washroom was quite large, with basic amenities provided, and they mentioned via WhatsApp that any additional items could be requested. However, I requested two dental kits and even followed up twice, but unfortunately they were not delivered. Check-in was smooth and quick, and parking is conveniently available with a friendly and helpful security officer. The small lawn area is also nicely maintained and adds to the charm of the property. Their pre-order dining system is quite efficient, dinner needs to be ordered before 6 pm and breakfast before 10 pm the previous night. The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the English breakfast, which was very well prepared. The staff were generally attentive and helpful, contributing positively to the stay. However, it would be nice to see a welcome drink at check-in, and since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, a small gesture like a cake or simple decoration would have made it more special. Also, the rooms are not fully soundproof, as some noise from the kitchen and lobby could be heard. Overall, it’s a beautiful and comfortable property in Nuwara Eliya, ideal for a relaxing getaway. With a few improvements in attention to detail, the experience could be even better. 🌿✨

Una pequeña villa muy bonita, con bebidas y cocinas cuando se queda, el servicio es bueno. Hay seis habitaciones en total, hay un cuarto de descanso para jugar al pódio. La decoración es muy bonita. El tronco es un tronco, necesitamos cambiar el tronco. El cuarto tiene un vaso de agua caliente. El lugar malo es que el baño no puede ir a lavar el agua y lavar la cara con el dragón. Porque es una noche de alojamiento, no se ha hecho ninguna opinión.

Las Villas Melheim Kandy son un encantador retrato de la colina que combina confort, naturaleza y hospitalidad caliente hermosamente. En medio de la verdura lujosa con vistas a las colinas Kandy, ofrece una escape pacífica del busto de la ciudad mientras que aún está en un viaje razonable a las atracciones clave. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, sin espacios y están diseñadas con pensamiento, con grandes ventanas o balcónes que le permiten sumergirse en el ambiente tranquilo. Aunque la propiedad está generalmente bien mantenida, algunos pequeños toques de mantenimiento podrían hacerla aún mejor. Uno de los destacados es el servicio el personal son genuinamente amigable, atento, y ansioso para hacer su estancia memorable. El desayuno es cálido y saboroso, a menudo con productos locales frescos, y la cena en la terraza con vistas es un tratamiento en sí mismo

Our stay at the Villa was absolutely perfect. The villa is luxury, with a big clean infinity pool looking out to the most stunning views. It is uo in the hills above Kandy - so it is so peaceful and quiet, it was so relaxing we didn’t leave the whole time. The staff are amazing - so friendly and kind, they go above and beyond. Brian is a superb manager - massive thanks to him!!! The food at the restaurant was so delicious. I will be recommending the Villa to all my family and friends, and we will definitely come back again ourselves.

It was absolutely amazing experience. We came from Japan & came to highland area to escape the city busyness. We are astonished about this hidden gem. As we came in we were welcomed with fantastic passion fruit juice. We came after dark & only requested simple white rice & fried vegetable but the chef and her staff made an amazing dinner with simple vegetable & rice. I realized how food prepared with heart can heal our soul. I was kept thinking if people in the world could eat this kind of food with real soul in it, could heal the whole world!! It is so amazing to be surrounded by beautiful trees &sounds of animals. I will definitely come back again. O

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ganthera and the staff were friendly however the room itself could have been improved. For example, there was distinct black marks on the walls and some mould in the bathroom but we understand the climate is humid (also some dead bugs). Bed area was clean and satisfactory and we slept well. The front door is locked at night so beware if needing to leave early - staff are not attentive to this. Whilst we did not use the pool area, the view was nice and pool looked good. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably not come back.

Super mooie locatie en de mensen zijn erg vriendelijk. Alleen waar we tegenaan liepen is dat alles enorm vochtig was. Beddengoed, vloer, badkamer, handdoeken. Er konden nergens ramen open dus het vocht blijft hangen. Ontbijt was prima, erg westers - dus als je daarnaar op zoek bent dan is het top. In de woonkamer zie je de waterschade op de muren.. er werd achter onze kamer gerookt (buiten) en de rooklucht trok enorm naar binnen, alsof er naast je gerookt werd. Al met al is dit geen plek waar we terug willen komen, ongeacht de vriendelijke mensen.

One of the most amazing properties i have stayed at. Both Bandhara and Madu, the butler and chef, were amazing. They were attentive, responsive and spot on..great work guys..very impressed. The property does full justice to the $. The location, the chants from the Buddhist temple in the valley create the utmost serene atmosphere. Every amenity is top end and every detail looked after. Will visit again for sure and will highly recommend..cheers

It was a delightful stay at the Forest View Villa. The food was delicious, especially the rolled pancakes for breakfast and the view amazing. We highly recommend this place. As the train connection between Kandy and Ella is not yet (end of February 2026) working, due to the devastating cyclon in December 25, you might want to consider asking your host to drive you. It might be less stressful than changing busses 3 times.
