Whilst the room was beautiful and clean, the service let the place down. Waited fir 15 minutes to book in, found out about a hotel carpark fee when we arrived. Breakfast was slow and gad to call someone over to get a coffee refill. Builing and room were lovely

Little bit dated but staff were very friendly, rooms were clean despite needing a bit of a make over. Zero Wi-Fi in the rooms which was frustrating. Second time staying at this hotel as the surroundings and golf course are stunning.

Everything from check-in to departure was perfect . The room was spotless with a big comfortable bed . We used the spa and pool which was all extremely clean with very polite staff at reception . This is our 3rd visit here and each time we’ve been very impressed Breakfast was very pleasant as were all staff .Vast selection of food and beverages for all dietary requirements . We enjoyed the full English breakfast that was cooked to perfection followed by some fresh pineapple / watermelon . We’ve stayed here a couple of times when we fly to UK and will continue to enjoy a weekend break here in the future .

Una buena piscina y gimnasio. Restaurante cerrado el lunes y el martes, hay comida de la calle Van fuera que fueron agradables. El cuarto era de tamaño adecuado. Pequeño balcón. No hay ascensor para el primer piso. Situación es un poco remoto, por lo que no hay mucho que hacer a pie fuera del hotel.

Beautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok. The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel. We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself. We look forward to going back.
