The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making access easy. All staff were friendly, welcoming, and able to communicate in English, which made my stay even more comfortable. I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to the premium floor, adding a joyful touch to my last night in Sapporo.
The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of selections, with most ingredients sourced from Japan and Hokkaido. I especially appreciated the unique option of sparkling wine in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Sapporo Stream Hotel from 11–18 April, in a Superior+ room, and it exceeded my expectations.
The room was modern, spotless, and well designed, with ample space to relax after a day of exploring Sapporo. The highlight was definitely the bed and mattress—I slept incredibly well every night, better than at home. The room was also quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, including a large-sized Panasonic air purifier/humidifier, which was especially helpful in the dry weather.
The hotel location is unbeatable—subway is direct access from the basement, connected to Cocono Susukino shopping mall, and within walking distance of Ramen Alley, Ichiran, EDW pancakes, famous soup curry spots, and Nijo Market. It made getting around and dining out extremely convenient.
I stayed for 8 days and really appreciated the daily housekeeping (not always common in Japan). There are washer-dryer on Level 8 (4 in total). A tip: avoid doing laundry at night as it gets busy—afternoons are much quieter. Using the time to shop or grab lunch nearby works perfectly. Also, don't overfill the machine; slightly more than half full works best and helps clothes dry more efficiently.
Overall, everything felt well-organised and guest-focused, making the stay very comfortable and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend Sapporo Stream Hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit.
Excellent location which is near to everything: JR Hakodate station, bus station, tram station, taxi station, Hakodate Morning Market, Family mart, etc.
The room is spacious and has a sofa seat. At 13th flr where our rooms were, there was a cafe where guests could have a drink free of charge.
The breakfast spread was good and the staff were very polite!
However, the air-conditioning was auto turned to warm, and we could not switch it back to cool temperature. As a result my daughter has to resort to rent a fan, as it was very warm at night.
Location is superb, close to Sapporo Station and Odori Park. Breakfast was delicious, but didn’t change at all between days - which isn’t a big issue. Room is small like typical in Japan, but clean and comfortable. Lastly, the rooftop area has an incredible view of clock tower in odori park that you can enjoy together with a cold beer from the vending machine there. Onsen is also on top floor and is top notch. Would stay again when in Sapporo, safe choice.

We stayed for 2 nights, and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Susukino and 5 mins walk to 狸小路 with many convenient stores and restaurants around. The front desk staff helped us to check in with the check in machine and the process was fast. We like the beds and room size, and the free flow of Haskap juice throughout afternoon and evening. The drawbacks are the front desk staff have limited English and didn’t understand our request to have a cleanup in our room as we were sleeping late and missed morning cleanup. The nearest airport shuttle bus stop across from hotel abest Sapporo is 4 blocks away and we have to take a taxi around 950yen with luggages to get there in the slushy snow. There are many Thai tourists in both evenings when we went back to hotel so the hotel is quite popular and crowded. Nevertheless the hotel was able to give us a high floor room away from elevators per our request and we had a quiet room which we appreciate a lot. Will definitely consider staying again given the hotel room is a good price!
The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from JR Hakodate station, and right next to the market with many seafood f&b options. It also located next to the sea and has an onsen at the top level with sea view. The staff are helpful and efficient. Check-in & check out (auto via machine) was seamless. The room is quite spacious with enough space for two open medium sized luggage. It also has partial sea view. Room is clean and well kept. The hairdryer and shower head are branded and of good quality.
Love our stay there. Rooms have view of slope or nature.
Just beisde Ningle Terrace and you can walk further down to the winter forest, so magical.
Hotel has express bus service and private car services are conveniently bookable. The only disadvantage is it's further to the train stations.
However we were able to come here directly by Ski Liner from Tomamu and leave with Lavender bus to Asahikawa, it also goes to Furano and Biei directly.
Hot spring resort is so so, not much facilities and a small place. It's pity they don't provide free shuttle bus or free entry to nearby snowlands.

UUsuario invitadoDefinitely a pleasant stay! Breakfast and dinner was great too! Staff were friendly and helpful too! It is also near one of the scenic spot - Shirahige Waterfall about 4min walking distance which definitely worth visiting.
CCarisRThis was the most magical onsen I’ve ever been to. Pretty remote and difficult to get to if relying on public transport/taxis, however once you get there it’s so warm, inviting, and luxurious.
The onsen baths are a mix of separate genders (mostly inside) baths, but also a spectacular outside onsen for mixed genders; the staff at reception will give you a covering garment for this.
The dinner and breakfasts were truly delicious and filling but we enjoyed dining in the provided yukatas.
The real draw of this place however is the birdwatching opportunities. The main lobby boasts a huge window to a bird garden which is teeming with various species. There is an owl that often visits and perches right outside the window. The staff can also call your room during the night if it appears and you’re desperate to see it!
CChuSuper friendly and welcoming staff, we were being treated like their family. Historical hotel but you can definitely see the owner's effort in keeping it modernised.
Yummy soba noodle too! Definitely recommend.
皓皓皓好荡荡荡漾This is lover hotel clean and good to sleep the toilet and washroom is separate far ,go out need to put key at frontdesk and the breakfast is only cup noodle but stay feeling ok good
