Perfect layover hotel, so close to terminal A, only about 8 minutes in the free shuttle they provided the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner was really good, especially the springbok carpaccio!
I’d recommend it to anyone needing to be near the airport.

En primer lugar, el personal fue excepcionalmente amable, profesional y me hizo sentir muy bien recibida. Es sorprendente la rapidez con la que el personal resuelve cualquier problema que surja. Esta fue mi primera visita a Sudáfrica y realmente disfruté de mi estadía en Airport Inn and Suites. Sí, si vuelvo a Sudáfrica, este será mi primer lugar y mi lugar preferido para hospedarme.
El único problema fue que la alfombra del dormitorio y la sala de estar necesitaba urgentemente una limpieza con vapor o un reemplazo. Sí, el personal de limpieza barrió la alfombra cuando limpiaron, pero barrer la alfombra con una escoba en realidad no limpia la alfombra. La alfombra estaba muy desgastada y me picaban los pies cuando caminaba sobre ella descalza. Pero lo resolví rápidamente al tener siempre puestas mis pantuflas. En general, este lugar está muy limpio, bien cuidado y el personal conoce el verdadero significado de la atención al cliente. Las acciones siempre hablan más que las palabras. Es por eso que le di a Airport Inn un 3 por la limpieza solo por la alfombra del dormitorio y la sala de estar.

We had an amazing stay at Menlyn Maine. Although our stay was short, the staff were professional. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The location is secure and is very close to Menlyn Mall and other malls and cute restaurants nearby. Our only complaint would be that we could not use the laundry service because it takes long for the clothes to be returned. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Would recommended to both non picky travelers and the boujie girls.

El día que me registré, alguien abrió la puerta mientras estaba desnuda en la ducha. Me asusté mucho, salté, resbalé y me lastimé los dedos de los pies.
No ayudan con el equipaje. Si llevas equipaje pesado, tienes que subirlo y bajarlo por las escaleras si te alojas en el piso de arriba. Además, para llegar a la recepción hay escalones altos.
No disfruté de mi estancia.

This hotel is near airport and good for overnight stay to catch flights.You could get the shuttle at the bus station near the airport. The frequency is hourly.
This hotel is near East Rand Mall. The counter staff told us that it is unsafe to walk across the street and advised us to take either Uber or hotel's van. If you are traveling in a group of 4 or more people, it is cheaper to get the hotel's van (80 rand one way) instead of Uber

The hotel is located in a nice area not far from the city. The hotel is clean and restaurant has nice food and drinks. Pool isn’t that big and workout facility is decent. Cards for rooms stopped working often which was a little annoying. Staff was helpful and a good stay overall.

UUsuario invitadoUpon arrival, check-in at reception was smooth. We were provided with our room key and directed to our accommodation, which required us to drive to the other side of the estate. However, when we reached the room, the key did not work. We walked back to reception, where we were informed that a network issue had prevented the key from being properly programmed. The receptionist, who was very helpful, offered to accompany us to the room and opened it using a master key. She assured us that a functioning key would be delivered as soon as the network was restored.
Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned. The window sill was sticky with what appeared to be beverage spills, the floor was dirty, the bathroom mats were not fresh, and most concerning, there were rat droppings on the window sill, on the floor behind the curtains, and behind the door. I contacted reception to request housekeeping and asked to speak with a manager, as the condition of the room was unacceptable. A housekeeping staff member arrived, but I requested that cleaning not proceed until the housekeeping manager assessed the situation. The manager quickly confirmed that the room had indeed not been cleaned and that there were clear signs of rodent activity. She apologised sincerely, asked us to wait while the room was cleaned, and said she would escalate the matter to the rooms division. While waiting on the terrace outside, we noticed a mouse in the bushes, which explained the droppings found inside.
After the room was cleaned, the manager returned, apologised again, and informed us that a complimentary bottle of wine had been arranged for us. We told her about the mouse we had seen and expressed that we did not feel comfortable staying in that room. She went back to speak with the rooms division, and we waited in the bar. An hour later, she returned with keys to a new room and directed us there. The replacement room was clean, though the entire experience made for a rocky start to our stay.
The following day, after breakfast, we returned to our room to find that the terrace doors had been removed and two maintenance staff were working. This came as an unexpected surprise, as no one had informed us that repairs would be taking place. We decided to return to the bar to allow the work to be completed. As we were celebrating a birthday that day, the housekeeping manager kindly arranged for our room to be decorated with a birthday message.
From that point onward, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to the exceptional customer service at the restaurants, bars, and spa. In particular, we would like to recognise Moses, Regal, and Tebogo at Kingsley Restaurant; Sibongile at Granatas; and Mandy at the spa for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made our stay memorable.
Overall, despite the challenges we experienced upon arrival, we had a lovely stay. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making my mother’s birthday special.

La habitación de la habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. Esta es la clase de propiedad que no sólo cumple las expectativas los eleva.
La suite fue concebida con belleza, espaciosa y pensamiento, y con el confort de una manera que se sentía tanto indulgente como homenaje. Todo detalle desde los muebles de más hasta las vistas del jardín tranquilo contribuyó a un sentimiento de relajación sin esfuerzo.
El servicio durante toda mi estancia fue impresionante. Si se trataba de ayuda con equipaje, recomendaciones de comida o simplemente un comprobado amigable ‑in para asegurarse de que todo estaba perfecto, el equipo se ha entregado con continuidad con profesionalismo y encanto.
El hotel está situado en una zona de la ciudad, donde se encuentran los lugares de interés de la ciudad. Es el lugar ideal para descansar, ya sea por la piscina, en el spa o simplemente caminando por los jardines.
La cena en Fairlawns fue otra destacada. La comida estaba bien presentada y llena de sabor, con un menú que equilibra la creatividad y el confort.
En general, el Fairlawns Boutique Hotel ofrece una mezcla excepcional de lujo, privacidad y hospitalidad. Mi estancia en la Villa Suite fue inolvidable y recomendaría este hotel sin hesitar a cualquiera que buscara una escape refinada y restaurada en Johannesburgo.

BBhekinkosiEl Mint era lindo y vivo. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y han acogido algunas actividades divertidas durante el fin de semana. Adicionales fueron un pequeño problema. El hierro no estaba calentado, el tablero de hierro era viejo y grueso, así que yo abandoné esa misión de hierro. La respuesta a las peticiones de mensajería fue un poco lenta a veces, pero el personal fue sorprendente!

TTraveling TanI recently stayed at this hotel which left me disappointed due to their shuttle service limitations. While the overall experience was average, the lack of a 24-hour shuttle service proved to be a significant inconvenience, particularly for early morning flights.
One of the key reasons I chose this hotel was because of its location and a shuttle service to the airport. However, upon checking in, I was informed that the shuttle operated only from 7 am onwards. This was highly inconvenient as my flight departure time was earlier. I approached the receptionist to inquire about alternative options, hoping for some flexibility or assistance, but was met with an unhelpful suggestion to order an Uber instead.
Having previously stayed at other hotels near airports, I had come to expect a 24-hour shuttle service as the norm. It was disappointing to find that this particular hotel did not offer the same level of convenience. Given the additional cost associated with using ride-hailing services like Uber, this unforeseen expense was an unwelcome surprise.
In conclusion, if you have early morning flights or rely on a reliable 24-hour shuttle service, I would caution against choosing this particular hotel. I would recommend exploring other nearby options that prioritize customer convenience and provide a more accommodating shuttle service.

UUsuario invitadoHotel is rated at 5star but the amenities are quite average. The standard king size room is smaller than I have experience in some other hotels if that range. You do not find water glasses in the room. Room service is very slow and sometimes your call will just keep transferring between room service and reception if you needed something. If you ordered food in your room, you have to make payment immediately. It does not amount up to check out. There is only one restaurant, one cafe in the hotel. You can walk up to nearest restaurant for your food that is 800m away.Pool is there but you have to carry your own towel. The day we arrived, there was a birthday party around the pool with loud music. We avoided going to pool side. Shoe shiner is in the lobby and if you get your shoes cleaned he needs to be paid as compliment and that complement begins with 100rand minimum. To me it’s an average hotel and ok for a couple of days. It had some conference going on so extra crowd was also in the lobby for the two days we stayed If you are looking for a luxery experience, better choose another hotel. This hotel is ok for not more than two days of stay.

UUsuario invitadoI recently stayed for a couple of nights, and overall, it was an average experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the room itself could have been a bit more updated. While it was clean, the furnishings seemed a little worn, and the bathroom, although functional, had some minor issues like a leaky faucet.
The bed was comfortable enough, but I did find it a bit harder than I prefer. The hotel amenities were standard—there was a gym and a small pool, though I didn't have time to use either. The Wi-Fi worked fine, and I didn't encounter any issues with the air conditioning or heating during my stay.
One thing that stood out was the location. It was pretty convenient for my needs, close to a few restaurants and shops, though not overly special. I was hoping for a bit more from the hotel's restaurant, as the menu was somewhat limited and the food was just okay.
In short, it wasn’t a bad stay, but it didn’t blow me away either. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep without expecting anything extraordinary, this hotel will do the job.

Holiday Inn was full so this was a close alternative.
Had amenities but their outlets were in the kitchen far from the bed? Not very business traveller or relaxing traveller friendly.
I booked a queen studio which had a kitchenette which was great for warming food etc. Decor a bit tired so could do with some love. But apart from a very dirty bottle left on the balcony it was clean.
Location is excellent for Rosebank Mall even if you have to play chicken to cross the road 😆
Customer service was severely lacking. I thought Radisson Red staff were slow but at least they were always there. You can't call frontdesk . It's all QR codes and WhatsApp. Late check out would be the cost of another night R1980. Staff had a, I dunno attitude and werent very helpful. 1 security guard and 1 young lady in the lounge are the only exceptions. Outlets in the lounge and office were local only and I had to really ask to get where I could buy adapters / converters.
Next time I'll go elsewhere. They're not customer focused enough for me.
