My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

Mi primera vez en Hefei, elegí el Langham y superó mis expectativas. Primero, el servicio fue excelente. La recepción fue profesional y el servicio de mayordomo personalizado fue muy atento. ¡Tuvimos una estancia relajante en 山语! El alojamiento estaba a 10 minutos en coche de la entrada de Huangshan. El personal fue increíblemente amable y acogedor. La comida, aunque no era la más barata, estaba tan deliciosa que terminamos cenando dos veces allí durante nuestra estancia de tres noches. El alojamiento tiene una estética impecable, con una decoración moderna y elegante. Como lo visitamos en noviembre, notamos que solo había calefacción, pero no fue un gran problema para nosotros, ya que hacía un poco de frío fuera. La habitación tiene una disposición rectangular y cuenta con dos tumbonas en el exterior, ideales para relajarse y tomar el sol si hace buen tiempo. Tomar un café o un té por la tarde aquí debe ser muy agradable. La ubicación del hotel también es excelente, muy cerca del centro de visitantes de la Puerta Sur de Huangshan, a solo unos minutos en coche. El hotel se compone de dos partes; en el patio de las habitaciones de enfrente hay una piscina donde puedes relajarte nadando después de un día agotador. El desayuno también es muy variado. En general, la experiencia fue excelente, ¡le doy cinco estrellas! Cabe destacar que después del check-in te invitan a añadir el hotel en WeChat para comunicarte directamente. Puedes enviar un mensaje de WeChat para avisar a la recepción, algo que no ofrecen otros hoteles y que me pareció genial. El hotel es muy atento, con transporte al centro de visitantes de Huangshan, así no tienes que conducir o caminar. La próxima vez que venga a Huangshan, sin duda me alojaré aquí de nuevo. Sugerencias: 1. Cada pasillo de las cápsulas espaciales podría delimitarse con una valla de madera para crear una zona independiente, y el acceso podría ser con tarjeta. Así, tumbarse en las tumbonas exteriores sería más seguro y tranquilo. 2. La nitidez del proyector no es suficiente; sería mejor sustituirlo por un televisor con buena calidad de imagen nocturna.

I had a wonderful stay. If you stay in an executive room you’ll have access to the executive lounge for the buffet and happy hour. Breakfast is on the first floor where there is a variety to choose from. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the lake.

El hotel está a unos 400 metros de la parada del autobús de enlace, a siete u ocho minutos a pie, lo que nos resultó muy conveniente para ir de la estación al teleférico. Pudimos dormir hasta el mediodía y salir después, evitando así las aglomeraciones. Reservamos una habitación familiar que era perfecta para nuestra familia de cinco. Llegamos tarde al hotel, pero el personal fue muy amable y educado, haciéndonos sentir muy cómodos. Después de un día de viaje, un baño en las aguas termales fue bastante relajante. Es una excelente opción para subir a la Montaña Amarilla. Adjunto algunas fotos del interior del hotel y del restaurante, que vale la pena recomendar a todos.

Wow! Of course the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - even amidst me forgetting my passport at home, they still sorted the problem out. The rooms are spacious, neat, tidy, and beautiful with comfortable beds. We were welcomed with fruits and little tomatoes, and there are always drinking water and cold drinks in the room for free. The view is spectacular with the mountain and the lake to be seen from different angles. Quite a pity the swimmingpool had water, but we couldn't swim since they said it was out of season and it hasn't been cleaned recently. I wish they would allow all season swimming. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were big. They were very accommodating with free machine latte/ capuchino's too. For those who'd like take aways, it can unfortunately not be delivered - the hotel is just too far from town for deliveries. There are a little tuck shop next to the hotel though. The area surrounding the hotel is fantastic; the nature is awesome, the entrance to the mountain peak is quite close by too with a fun park and all kinds of activities. I'd recommend people to go in the autumn, since many places were rather quiet and not as spectacular as expected since it only really flourish in autumn. There are plenty to see and do, but those things are not a walking distance from the hotel. We had a little problem finding taxi's (perhaps because it was during tomb sweeping holiday) and the staff even helped us in this regard. The town about 30-40 minutes by car from the hotel had so many wonderful attractions and restaurants. One can also experience the real village life there. All and all I can certainly recommend a visit and if possible, I would go there again! The whole area is certainly one of Hefei's jewels.
