We are a couple traveling Cebu, and regretfully we only stayed at AOSMEC for one night. We wish we could have explored the area more. Pros: This hotel was very clean and new. The pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable and the AC cooled the room well. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was Philippine style and amazing. I had pork, rice, egg, and coffee. My wife had fried chicken, rice, egg, and water. We did not swim in the short time we were at AOSMEC, but there was a pool. Cons: The shower did not have hot water, which I did not mind. But my wife had a little trouble as she is more accustomed to a warmer shower. We would stay at AOSMEC again.

La playa está a unos 300 metros. La recepción cierra por la noche, pero les escribimos pidiendo alojamiento, y nos lo hicieron. Reservamos una habitación, pero nos dieron otra. No nos gustó, aunque la habitación en sí estaba bien. No probamos el desayuno porque teníamos prisa. Pero, por lo que tengo entendido, era muy escaso.

La ubicación es un poco remota, así que tenga cuidado cuando salga por la noche, pero la tienda encuentra a sus parientes para que regresen a recogernos. Es muy conveniente. Puedes alquilar la moto de la tienda por la isla, lo cual es muy divertido. El hotel está cerca del mar. Por la mañana, puede capturar mucha vida marina. El desayuno está incluido. Aunque no es delicioso, el desayuno en Filipinas no es muy bueno. Es primitivo y hermoso por dentro. No queremos salir más. Personalmente, creo que es más hermosa que la playa de Alona. Hay demasiada gente allí, por lo que no hay tranquilidad aquí. Sin embargo, la red no es buena aquí y la señal tiene que ser mejor en la piscina. También hay una pequeña tienda donde puedes comprar bocadillos y bebidas, y también puedes cenar aquí.

En primer lugar, respecto al check-in, el personal de recepción del hotel desconocía por completo el proceso y me confirmaban el itinerario repetidamente. Me pregunto si será porque reservé a través de Ctrip y tuvieron menos contacto conmigo. Incluso tuve que consultar con el gerente para completar el check-in, y todo el proceso tardó 25 minutos. Además, al día siguiente, durante el desayuno, el personal del restaurante también confirmó mi reserva repetidamente, tardando 5 minutos, lo cual me resultó muy molesto... Además, había un ligero olor a humedad en la habitación, pero dentro de lo aceptable. La caja fuerte estaba rota e inservible. La habitación era, en general, espaciosa y la limpieza era aceptable; había manchas en el sofá y algunas en las sábanas, pero en general, seguía estando dentro de lo aceptable. Y lo más importante, la insonorización de la habitación era deficiente. Se oían claramente los ruidos del pasillo, y si había ruido en la habitación de al lado, también se oían. Además, hubo un anuncio bastante fuerte en la habitación de al lado por la mañana; no sé si era una ceremonia religiosa o algo así, pero puede que fuera un poco ruidoso. Quienes tengan problemas de sueño deberían tener cuidado. En resumen, no volveré a reservar este hotel.

An otherwise pleasant stay ruined by somewhat incompetent communication surrounding a private transfer booked through the hotel. For those booking a private transfer through the hotel it’s worth knowing the following: 1) this is a third party arrangement and as such whether it is “private” or not is at the discretion of the third party 2) In the event that a transfer is not private, the hotel does not appear to need or feel it necessary to inform you. This situation happened to me when leaving the island, having checked out early and being informed by reception which was my boat, I departed the island on said boat only to be made to turn around 90% into the journey as there was supposed to be another passenger. The hotel simply said this was the third party decision and whilst they were aware of it on the day, had not informed me (resulting in me traversing the stretch of water multiple times). All in all this was the cherry on an otherwise miscommunication-strewed cake (they never mentioned the private transfer had to be paid in cash, and they miscommunicated breakfast would start at 6:30 when in reality it is 7:30). On the plus side, the location is good for dive shops and the food was nice. However, I wouldn’t personally recommend this place to family or friends.

We had a truly amazing stay, thank you to all the staff, your hospitality/kindness/smiley faces were amazing 👍 The Resort was small and cute,& right on the beach/sea & the attention to detail for all the guests was brilliant.. The rooms were spacious, very clean with all the amenities, including a mini bar. Our introduction to the Scuba Diving course was brilliant, and I would tell anyone who wants to do Scuba Diving for the 1st time to go to this resort. Donde the Dive instructor was brilliant, very efficient & conscious re health/safety, BUT had the best personality to make you feel at ease. Any nerves we may have had in the swimming pool, @ our introduction, were all gone when we were sitting on the Sea Bed watching a Sea Turtle sleep 😂 I never thought at the start of the day, we would end the day having done two amazing Dives, We will definitely be back to do another Dive the ” next” step with Donde👍The Food was also amazing, my husband enjoyed the fresh Tuna tapa👍 Lots of variety, and very well priced including the Vino👍 The Breakfast was the best of all the resorts we've stayed in the Philipines, & that is normally the negative in any of my reviews😂 Thankyou to all the staff we look forward to seeing you all again soon. Mira el buen lugar para el atardecer. El cuarto es mayor, pero las instalaciones son simples, ni siquiera hay un sofá. El servicio es muy amable, excepto una mujer fuerte y mala. No es muy conveniente viajar sin coche en la puerta, es difícil jugar en línea y será mejor ir a Belfast. Comer puede ser un restaurante del hotel y tiene buen gusto. Hay muchos restaurantes en la plaza comercial Modala delante de él, hay un restaurante filipino junto a Belfast. El entorno es bonito y la playa también es buena. En general, además del servidor, el resto se corresponde con el precio

Honest review for Northville Beach Resort 🌴✨ The place is really nice, clean, and beachfront, which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The ambiance is calm and perfect for a family getaway, and the staff were very accommodating and kind. Just an honest feedback — the aircons in 3 rooms were not as cold as we expected, and the shower in 2 rooms was not functioning properly. But it was still manageable for us since there was a balde available and we’re not very picky. Overall, we still had a good stay and enjoyed our family vacation 🤍 Still a must-stay for us for a chill beach getaway 🌊 Also very near the port, which makes it very convenient. And there’s WiFi, which makes it very convenient. Thank you Northville .

A lovely relaxed stay. Acacia is in a great location, away from Alona beach but only 10 mins on a bike. The public area has a small pool, and a place to cook, with a fridge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. I would recommend Acacia highly.

Por el precio que pagamos, este es un hotel fantástico. Por supuesto, las habitaciones son sencillas y adecuadas para viajeros sin pretensiones. El desayuno está incluido en el precio de la habitación; las bebidas deben pagarse por separado. La tienda más cercana está a 15 minutos a pie. No hay un buen camino hasta el hotel y tendrás que caminar sobre piedras y luego arena durante 5 minutos, pero lo sabíamos y no nos molestó. La magnífica playa está a 3 metros de la entrada. Si está preparado para un pequeño inconveniente, este hotel le gustará. Cuesta 500 pesos llegar desde el hotel hasta el muelle de Tagbilaran. Nos gustó el hotel, quedarnos 3-4 días es justo lo que necesitábamos. Buena suerte para el hotel y un mayor desarrollo.
