Additionally, the hotel is well-situated for public transportation, making it easy to explore the rest of Qingdao without hassle. The check-in process was notably smooth and efficient. The staff was welcoming and quick to assist, ensuring a pleasant start to my stay. Their friendliness and professionalism set the tone for a comfortable visit. The room was clean and well-maintained, which immediately provided a sense of comfort and relaxation. I appreciated the simplicity and practicality of the room’s design, which focused on essential amenities. Despite its central location, the hotel offered a peaceful and quiet environment, allowing for uninterrupted rest after a busy day. The pricing of the Yuemingze Hotel is very competitive, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. While the hotel does not offer breakfast, the surrounding area has plenty of dining options to explore, so I didn’t find it to be an inconvenience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Yuemingze Hotel. Its strategic location, alongside the ease of check-in, cleanliness, and serene atmosphere, made it an excellent choice for visitors to Qingdao. It’s ideal for those who prioritize value and quiet without sacrificing comfort. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially if breakfast is not a necessity in your accommodation choice.

Hotel fantástico con un servicio excelente. Dormimos de maravilla antes de nuestro vuelo temprano por la mañana. La ducha, amplia y con una presión de agua fantástica, era estupenda. El cómodo servicio de transporte al aeropuerto hizo que nuestra estancia fuera aún mejor.

La ubicación era excelente y el personal fue muy servicial y amable. Usé el servicio de traslado al aeropuerto, salimos a tiempo y solo tardamos unos 8 minutos en llegar. La desventaja es que las paredes son muy finas y había un hombre hablando por teléfono hasta las 2:17. Se oía prácticamente cualquier ruido: teléfonos sonando, gente caminando y susurrando, y a veces la habitación olía a cloaca. Era insoportable. Si no fuera por estos dos factores, sin duda volvería, pero lamentablemente no soporto el ruido ni el olor a cloaca, sobre todo teniendo un vuelo a primera hora de la mañana.

Now, what needs improvement The front desk female staff came across as unprofessional. I booked a 45-minute singing bowl session starting at 12:15, and then booked a photographer for 13:00. But at 12:48, the front desk lady called me and even called the singing bowl teacher — while my session was still going on. I think this is basic knowledge for front desk staff: a singing bowl session requires a calm, quiet environment, and my session hadn't even ended yet — it wasn't time for the photographer. After my session ended and I could finally check my phone, But when I got to the front desk, The photographer already left because he was in a hurry. But he arrived at 12:45 — and then said he was in a hurry? The front desk staff's poor coordination not only ruined my need for a peaceful healing session, but also made the hotel's ”photographer service” gift completely useless. At first I thought I would come back to stay here again. But after this experience of inefficient coordination, I'll really have to reconsider whether I want to stay here next time.

Extremely clean, very large space with excellent aircon and water pressure. The room has an attached ”kitchen”, which I did not know was included! It was a terrific space, and would be especially great for families or large groups. There are no restaurants in this location, only the breakfast facility. Breakfast was Chinese buffet breakfast, with several options and was satisfactory. You can also eat breakfast on their outdoor patio, which was pleasant! Sadly, the coffee shop was not open when I was there. I walked about 15 minutes down the beachfront to another hotel's coffee shop--it was nice but expensive. The location is very close to the bridge leading to Yangma Island and the bus stop is nearby. The beach directly across from the hotel is a giant mud-flat beach. It is NOT a swimming or bathing beach! When tide is in, it is very flat and shallow, when tide is out, it is muddy and you can take a bucket to find little creatures. There is not a good swimming beach at this location, but I took a bus northwest to go swimming. Service was friendly, but non-Chinese guests should use patience--the friendly ladies at the desk do not speak English. They are helpful to find food/snacks/shops nearby. Overall, it feels like staying in a small apartment rather than a hotel, with nice plants around the property and a homey feeling.

It was a family trip to the spa resort, and we booked one night with a lake view. The landscape was beautiful, but the guest rooms felt a bit old, showing signs of age. The toilet facilities were weak, and the refrigerator did not work properly, but apart from that there were no major issues during our stay. The resort itself is quite large, so it’s easy to get lost while walking around—especially at night when the hallways become dark. It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the directions. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, doing their best to communicate using a translation app. Since the resort is located slightly away from the main city, calling a Didi taxi may take some time, which can make going out at night a bit difficult. However, the on-site restaurant offers a wide variety of reasonably priced dishes. The spa facilities were superb and very enjoyable. The outdoor swimming pool tasted salty—perhaps it’s seawater, though I’m not completely sure. Breakfast was also satisfying, with American-style options available. Overall, the stay was pleasant. I’d be curious to try other rooms in the future, as some looked newly renovated with modern fixtures. (+) thanks for the figs for welcoming presents!
