Me and my mum recently had the pleasure of staying at Royal Boutique Hotel. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It is close to the airport which is quite convenient. The staff was professional,welcoming and attentive. The check in went smoothly. The room was lovely and spacious and clean. Food provided was fantastic.
All the services were top notch. Taxi services are also available through hotel if you need to go places during your stay there.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a hassle free stay. Staff members always happy to go an extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable as possible.

El hotel está convenientemente ubicado y la habitación tenía un bonito diseño tradicional. Sin embargo, noté un fuerte olor en la habitación, lo que hizo que mi estancia fuera incómoda. Quemé incienso para mejorar el aire, lo que inesperadamente provocó una disputa con el hotel sobre la compensación.
El importe que solicitaron fue sorprendentemente alto y me resultó difícil de entender. Finalmente, el problema se resolvió a través de la plataforma de reservas, pero la experiencia fue estresante y no era algo que esperaba en mi viaje. Espero que el hotel pueda gestionar este tipo de situaciones con más flexibilidad y comprensión en el futuro.

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train. Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located. We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and
breakfast staff were very welcoming. Would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our few days at this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, cosy, quiet and airconditioned. The food is diverse and nice. Breakfast selection is small, but good.
It is located in one of the best locations in town, centrally located between main sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and the airport. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the latter.
The hotel’s pool, spa and gym are also recommended.

Práctica de precios. Las camas están limpias. El abanico está cerca de lugares más cálidos en la región de Tamil. A 600-800 metros de la farmacia de Yunnan y la plaza de Wang Palace. Todos los lugares de los pequeños hoteles chinos están a cien metros. La ruta de la mañana está en comparación con el ruido Es una gran deficiencia, pero creo que es más grande oír y dormir. One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.

Only breakfast was too late because my schedule to leave at 9 am but it was ready at 8.30 am and two days in a row. Overall it is very nice hotel to stay when you go to Kathmandu

UUsuario invitadoWe knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to.
On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic.
As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace!
Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection.
We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe.
There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly.
The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. Niraj Yadav the receptionist and the team, we thank you dearly.

UUsuario invitadoI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

We stayed here for a few nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a very good location, just a short walk to the Thamel area, so it was easy to explore without needing taxis. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet had complete selections, with some dishes rotating daily.
However, we did encounter an issue with the bathroom floor. The tiles in the bathroom were the same as those in the bedroom area, and as a result, the floor became extremely slippery when wet. My wife even slipped once while taking a shower. It would be much safer if the hotel installed proper bathroom flooring. The toilet spray was also positioned awkwardly on the left side, and the toilet seat felt loose, which affected comfort.
Our original king room wasn’t ready at the 2 PM check-in time, but the staff offered us the option to check in immediately with a twin room, which we accepted. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and very helpful. When my wife requested help to switch the air-conditioner to heater mode, they sent someone right away and even provided an extra portable heater, which we really appreciated.
We were granted a late check-out until 2 PM, and because our flight was late at night, we extended the stay until 6:30 PM for an additional USD 30+. This was convenient for us.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great staff and location. The only major area that needs attention is the bathroom design and safety, which should be improved for better comfort.

For this trip to Nepal, I had a driver scheduled ahead of time to make the drive up there in the dark easier. Pay extra if they stay or go down. No need to leave the property, but lovely locals in both road directions. It seems lots of people take their motorbikes up. There’s even college students and bus groups. Some vacant and less expensive hostels, but this location has everything needed. I think it’s a good night or two to stay. I arrived dinner and stayed two nights. All employees wonderful. Binod said Hotel can help arrange driver, but the bus also comes up. Sunrise depends on fog. Good either way.

XXUENANEn el camino de Kadu a Chitwan, nos hemos estado contactando con el hotel a través del servicio de atención al cliente de Ctrip para que nos recoja cuando llegamos, pero el hotel no se ha puesto en contacto con el servicio al cliente. No esperaba que tan pronto como llegó el autobús, el conductor arreglado por el hotel estuviera esperando. Es fijo, debe ser que el hotel tomará la iniciativa de ir a la estación a recoger y dejar de acuerdo a la ocupación y horario del bus. El hotel es relativamente bueno en el área local. Hay hermosos jardines y villas independientes. Las habitaciones también están decoradas con características especiales. Son limpios e higiénicos. El personal es muy entusiasta. Ellos harán todo lo posible para ayudarlo si tiene algún problema. Personalmente, creo que el precio de las diversas actividades que ofrece el hotel en Chitwan es razonable, por lo que es posible y conveniente reservar en el hotel. Hay algunos aldeanos alrededor del hotel, no lejos del río. Puede visitarlo o dar un paseo en su tiempo libre. Hay un mercado bullicioso a unos tres kilómetros del hotel. Puedes tomar un taxi para comer. . Si comes en el hotel, el precio no es barato, ¡pero el sabor es realmente increíble!

UUsuario invitadoHoy es mi último día en este hotel. Mis amigos se fueron a otra ciudad a escalar montañas, dejándome solo en el hotel. Desayuné solo esta mañana, disfrutando del paisaje y charlando con el personal del hotel; todos fueron increíblemente amables y acogedores.
Lo que más quiero destacar es la ubicación y el entorno; ¡es absolutamente perfecto! Si estás planeando un viaje, no dudes en visitarlo antes de decidirte. Sin duda, volveré a elegir este hotel la próxima vez que esté en Nepal.
También miré otros hoteles en la zona, pero la ubicación y el entorno siempre son mis principales prioridades. Esta fue la mejor opción para mí. Claro que cada persona tiene sus preferencias de alojamiento, pero para mí, ¡la experiencia aquí fue realmente fantástica!

UUsuario anónimoLocation is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.
