The hotel's covered parking area has limited capacity, but there is a large open parking space conveniently located just across the road. Remember to present your parking ticket to the receptionist each time you arrive at the hotel! 🛍️ The hotel is conveniently situated just a 10-minute drive from the main shopping and dining district. Plus, there are several convenience stores right across the street for your late-night snacks. 😋🌙

Pluses: restaurant and family mart on-site. Close to tram and bus routes and in the edge of Tenmonkan entertainment zone - if that's your thing. No real complaints. Good solid hotel.

The hotel was located a 2 minute walk from the airport bus stop. It was also close to tram stops and a don quijote across the road. The room was a little small but we managed to make space for 2 large suitcases by moving things around. There is also a massage chair in the room which was a random nice touch. I really recommend the breakfast as there was an all fish option which is great if you're muslim and only eat halal. It gave us the opportunity to try something traditional that I would not have been able to before. Freshly made bonito flakes too! The hotel also has a luggage disposal service as my suitcase broke on the way there, it costed 3300 yen. It was a convenient, clean and safe stay :)

Value for money. Simple yet sufficient. Clean n with all the necessary amenities. Beautiful view of Sakurajima mountain. Fully recommended if u are looking for a simple n comfortable stay

This hotel for our needs perfectly - however the room was quite dirty, especially the bathroom! I recommend the cleaning crew take a second look the next time they clean the toilets, I hope not all the rooms are like this!

A new hotel with excellent location. It’s just next to the shopping streets with lots of restaurants & souvenir shops. Got amenities such as bath salt, tea bags, drip coffee & cleansing oil/ lotion at hotel lobby for you to pick up. The restaurant where you take breakfast commands a stunning panoramic view. Will stay here again.

Huge bath tub within the room. Slightly bigger room than japan's average because of that but living area is smaller as a result. There is a sofa in this room but that takes up the space for luggage. Overall pretty good. Just opppsite the jr station with underground access. Sakurajima was covered by clouds when I was there.

Let's start with the pros. This hotel is basically joined to the JR Kyushu Shinkasen / Kagoshimachuo station which is joined to the AMU Plaza shopping mall and it also has a tram stop right outside the mall (Kagoshima-chuo eki mae tram stop). So in terms of location I think this hotel ticks all the boxes. The lady at the front counter who was checking me was very friendly, however, we both had to use a translator to communicate 😂 . I believe that is it for the pros. Moving on to the cons. This hotel is starting to show its age (and not in a good way). The room was small, the bathroom is vintage, it felt dewy and it gave me an allergy attack. The 3 gripes I had: 1) The fix AC near the ceiling was blowing directly onto the bed which was really uncomfortable. I believe this contributed to my allergy flare-up. 2) The bed and the pillow was not very comfortable. I did not sleep well for the couple of nights. Or it could've just been the AC. 3) The hotel didn't offer any bottled waters. I would rather they take away the cheap plastic toothbrush and comb and offer the bottled waters instead.

El aire acondicionado me da en la cabeza. Me duele la cabeza después de soplar toda la noche. Originalmente, dos noches, y al día siguiente, el hotel. La habitación es pequeña y vieja, pero tiene un rizador de pelo. El personal prácticamente no entiende inglés, pero se comunican muy bien por móvil. El diseño de la lavandería es antiguo, el secado es completamente inútil y sigue mojado después de 40 minutos. Para fumar, hay que subir dos escaleras traseras para comer.

Let’s start with good things. There is little kitchen you can use. There is free tea. There are two showers and one toilet room near the former entrance. Washing machine is free. The place is opened 24 hours. Wifi is fine. The mat and pillow are comfy. English-friendly. Now, some bad things. It seems that the place knew much better days. Now, as many others, it became a home for those who work, not travel. It means it is still noisy after 22:00 in the dorm room. Guys can turn on the lights and leave them on. Locker doors slamming, etc. A few tenants did not care about clearing shower after them, same with the toilet slippers that are mandatory but tenants use the ordinary ones. If you are sensitive for this, consider choosing another place or at least a private room.
