I booked a cheap hotel as I only needed it to sleep and shower in as I was out everyday. You pay for what you get. However the amount of stress caused on check in I was not prepared for. I understand reservations may not appear for many different reasons so I have more patience and understanding than most, however to be told on check in there’s a piece of scrap paper saying I’ve been moved to another hotel 40mins drive away, when I was told their was rooms available, with no proper documentation and I have to pay for the taxi and somehow claim it back from some person tomorrow, then met with a shoulder shrug when I said no just isn’t ok. I spent all evening trying to sort out the check in. Communication failed terribly in this occasion. I was left to sit and basically deal with my reservation myself for 4 1/2 hours talking to the company I booked with, not knowing If I was getting a room here or not and looking for other places to stay. To find out there was a problem with the payment, which if I was told from the beginning it could have been dealt with a lot quicker and reduced the stress of trying to be sent to another hotel, not knowing if they actually had my booking. A lot of reassurance points were missed. Which wasn’t a great start to my holiday. However on another note, This hotel has huge potential and I don’t think the owners realise. It just needs some some TLC, with its location being 5mins from the airport, the beach out side, ***** of restaurants 30 seconds away, volley ball, water sports on the beach out front and 2mins walk from the bus stop to larnaka centre (or 30/40min walk) and only a 5min walk to the salt lake. The actual hotel needs some love and work to it. With the partnership it has with last minute.com and potentially others, it could do really well and stand a very good chance in the market. Just some advice , Get the pool and upstairs bar fixed so it’s suitable for leisure guests when they come next summer. As it stands you wouldn’t be able to relax in the hotel during the day. The lobby area is lovely and spacious, the decorations and branding is simplistic which is nice. The outside of the hotel looks lovely with the huge flamingo. Do up the bedrooms, get the showers fixed, re paint, fix the door handles , make it look fresh like the photos advertised. When you get more guests coming , then focus on re designing the breakfast buffet, so there’s more of a selection. Then focus on customer service and making it feel warm. Let people aware you have made changes and ask the guests to leave reviews, better your chances of new business and more money. As people read reviews before staying. Look at the surrounding market and competition, what are your USP’s ?, where do you stand out?. It’s such a shame to see a hotel with potential go to waste. I hope the owners see this and start to put some love into the hotel.

La habitación es muy agradable, pero no me gusta la habitación. Si alguien como yo, le gustan los gatos, eso sería un hotel perfecto para ellos, ya que hay gatos de calle cuidados locales cerca en una zona verde, que mantiene a ratas y bugs lejos.

El hotel dispone de una amplia gama de apartamentos con vistas impresionantes, personal fantástico y útil, ambiente amigable, todo está a pie de tiendas a restaurantes a farmacia y la playa está al otro lado de los apartamentos. El apartamento tiene habitaciones amplias y se limpió todos los días. Las toallas se proporcionaron con antelación y fue suficiente para nuestra estadía, el aire conocido funcionaba como magia y la vista al balcón lo hizo todo lo que merecía

El desayuno es muy normal, nada. Es adecuado solo si tiene mucha hambre. Alrededor del pueblo y algunos restaurantes, fue aburrido en 4 días. El hotel es perpendicular al mar, por lo que es muy condicional ver la ”vista al mar” desde todas las habitaciones. Las habitaciones son las mismas, el tipo de dormitorio que elige ”caro” no tiene sentido. El check-in una hora antes o el check-out una hora más tarde tardarán medio día más. Frente a otro hotel, hay música en vivo muy fuerte hasta muy tarde, incluso si cierras las ventanas, tienes que escuchar malas canciones y disfrutar de Chipriota Kirkorov, Elton John, etc. También hay uno agradable: el personal es muy amable y el agua limpia.

Visitamos Larnaca por primera vez con fin de conocer la ciudad y pasar unos dias de descanso.El hotel esta situado en un sitio centrico y muy comodo para pasear y hacer compras. Nos complacio en sumo grado el servicio en el hotel, la limpieza en los cuartos y su estilizado arreglo. El desayuno fue bien presentado, abundante y muy sabroso. Mas nos impresiono el personal en el hotel , estamos muy agradecidos a la empleada en la recepcion sta. Olesia, que nos ayudo en todo que pudo, hiciendo nuestra estancia todavia mas agradable.

We arrived in Larnaca early morning after a very long flight. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating getting us settled into a room that exceeded our expectations. The property has been refurbished nicely and is very clean. It is in a shopping area close to the beach and lots of restaurants.

Como miembro de Accor, he reservado el Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort. Mis expectativas se han superado mucho. El hotel fue abierto recientemente y todo es completamente nuevo y limpio! El personal es muy intentado, amable y competente. ¡Para mencionar es Denis en la recepción, super amable y profesional. En la cocina Valentina es un sueño! Además, quiero mencionar al camarero con los cabello oscuro más largos - amable, siempre abierto a una conversación. En todo el personal es excelente! La ubicación del hotel está a unos 20 minutos del aeropuerto de Larnaca. Está situado en la playa con una hermosa instalación polaca. Teníamos habitaciones 404, muy modernas y de tamaño una habitación normal estándar. Comimos 3 veces en el hotel por la noche - era excelente y muy delicioso. En torno al hotel hay algunos restaurantes y cafés. Un supermercado está a 2 minutos del hotel. Puedo recomendar el hotel y volveré a ver el verano. 10 de 10 puntos - así que las vacaciones son divertidas.

En primer lugar, la ubicación de la falla es un poco difícil de encontrar, no hay estacionamiento, el balcón no puede ver el paisaje solo basura. Well situated ( I was diving the Zenobia wreck and Dive-In Larnaca is just around the corner) and plenty of places to eat out if required - hotel does food all day at pool, and in bar/restaurant Staff very helpful and pleasant. We booked a suite which was extremely good value. Gave us the extra space we needed.

Después de otra maravillosa semana que tuvimos en el hotel, mi familia y yo agradecemos a todos los empleados por su maravillosa actitud y hospitalidad y quiero felicitar especialmente al Sr. KIRYAKOS SHIAKALLIS por sus habilidades organizativas! Y como ex futbolista, diría que el papel del Sr. Shiakallis en el hotel es tan importante como el de Lionel Messi en FC Barcelona.

My partner and I absolutely love this Hotel. From the moment you enter the reception, to taking your bags to your room, the cleanliness, friendly staff, amazing breakfast that has nothing missing, the closeness of the pool bar, the beach, the amenities, everything. We enjoy staying here for business and for pleasure. It is an all-rounder Hotel that offers everything anyone can desire without the airs and graces of the local pompus Hotels. We will come time and time again because we are made to feel at home.

Hotel muy nuevo y con mucho personal que hace la estancia muy agradable. Totalmente recomendable para vacaciones y negocios. Especialmente agradable la decoración con maderas alrededor. Además es reseñable la calidad de la comidad y los productos tan frescos que utilizan.

Recomendaria una habitación con vistas al mar, la vista del otro lado del hotel no es grande. Muy variedad en el desayuno (el melocotone era delicioso). Las habitaciones son modernas, el aire acondicionado funciona muy bien y una buena TV de tamaño, aunque no hay muchas opciones de canales de habla inglés, pero no fuimos a ver la TV. La habitación de la piscina no era grande, pero no era un problema. El hotel está abierto a no residencia para alquiler en cama solada en los fines de semana y es extremadamente ocupado y muy crowded. El peor es el disco que es muy alto y juega desde 11.00am hasta 4.00pm. Tal vez un buen momento para sentarse en la playa! Recomiendo que Lebay se advierta de la zona de piscinas sobrecargada, especialmente los domingos.

I’m based out here in the army , flew my wife over from the uk , I would give it a 10 star review if I could , amazing value and happy staff , reasonable priced food and drinks , my wife’s flight got cancelled and they let us stay by there lovely pool and gave us free towels and made all the stress of a cancelled flight go away , will def be back soon

I stayed at Sveltos Hotel in Oroklini for a week in October together with a group of 8 who were visiting Cyprus for a cycling week. I was the only non-cyclist in the group. We arrived mid-evening, tired. Check-in was quick and easy and we were offered a welcome drink. My husband and I were given room 215. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious with ample storage space and plenty of room to set down our suitcases. There was a large wardrobe and some shelves. The room had air con, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, large bottle of mineral water (which was replenished each day), telephone, room safe, large wall mounted TV, mini fridge, ironing board (with iron available on request, I think). Most of the sockets in the room take English style plugs without the need of an adaptor. The room had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The temperatures in October was around 30 degrees each day but our balcony was often in the shade which was just perfect. Our room faced the main road so was a little noisy during the rush-hour. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the pool at the back. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a walk in shower, lots of shelf space to set down your bathroom bag, etc. There was a hairdryer and a few complimentary toiletries. The hotel’s public areas were modern and inviting. There was an indoor bar, outdoor bar (offering well-priced cocktails with happy hour each evening). There was a good sized pool and a children’s pool. There were ample loungers for sunbathing and a lot of tables and chairs outdoors for eating and drinking. There is a pool menu which was very good and well-priced. The restaurant is on the ground floor where we had breakfast each morning. There was an ample choice of hot and cold buffet. Dinner was €18 per person for three courses. We found that food portions in Cyprus were usually quite large. The hotel has a gym which was quite small but well stocked with a good selection of equipment. The hotel offers 2 or 3 excursions most days. I took 3 excursions during my stay and they were good and well-priced. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and accommodating of our group.
