We chose the Raddison Beach for a number of reasons, a brand we know and trust to be of good quality, newly built and by the beach. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room, our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the sea and pool. The room, nice enough fairly basic for a deluxe room though; Par example we had one chair, bar the dressing table chair, plenty of room for a sofa (which they do show in some of their management photos) so we asked why there was no sofa our room, we were told by reception you only get one if there are 3 of you in the room, as the third person will sleep on it. We both thought that a highly unlikely story. No dressing gowns but you do get slippers and tea coffee making facilities which is nice. The balcony in our room was lovely and large, great view too. Alas slightly ruined by the partition between us and our neighbours, it was quite low, meaning privacy could be a little hard at times. The cleaning of our rooms could have been better. We had to keep asking for the one large bottle of water a day most days we did not get it. On some days, our glasses and cups were not always cleaned (I could still see my own lip gloss on the rim) the towels were not always clean looking (some were stained) we had to ask for tea bags most days. Now don’t get me wrong I know chamber maids work very hard but when in a 4* we just don’t expect this. The pool area is lovely and the pool a good size and super cold, which I loved my partner not so. The beach - not really much of a beach. The sun beds are on the hotel grounds grass, there is a small walk way and then pebbles into the sea. I would advise you use your flip flops to get in and out of the sea. The water is like a mill pond in the morning, lovely, clean and clear. What we found amusing was the that is was so shallow, you could walk out for almost a mile before you were shoulder height in the water, great for Kids or non confident swimmers. Ideally if Radisson could spend some money on creating a sandy beach area (similar to hotel next door) or have floating pontoons that would be even better in our view. The full board option we had did not include drinks, bar tea and coffee at breakfast. The breakfast and dinner buffet was great and offered plenty of fresh, variety of food. At lunch if there was no buffet we could pick off the menu. The club sandwich was huge! We were very happy with that. The ladies and gents working in the bar areas and especially the buffet area were all lovely. Have to say a special call out the ‘Angela’ in the buffet area, what a lovely lady to chat to, nothing was too much trouble either. Thank you for always taking the time to chat and joke with us plus get me some tasty menu options! On leaving day we had asked prior for a late check out and were told that was not possible. However we could use the pool changing area, with a five hour wait time till our pickup our for flight home so we decided to utilise this option. Unfortunately the air con
